Speaking at the opening of the Congress, comrade Vu Ba Phu - Director of the Department of Trade Promotion (DPT) emphasized that during the past term, all Party members of the DPT have been active in their work and successfully completed assigned political tasks.

“Party committees at all levels have proactively and creatively implemented effectively Directive No. 05 on 'Promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle', Resolution No. 4 of the Central Committee (12th tenure) on 'Strengthening Party building and rectification; preventing and repelling the degradation of political ideology, morality, lifestyle and manifestations of 'self-evolution' and 'self-transformation' within the Party', those results have contributed positively to the success of the Party Congress of the Trade Promotion Department" , Director Vu Ba Phu affirmed.

The Congress has the task of reviewing and objectively and comprehensively evaluating the results achieved in the 2020-2025 term, and at the same time determining the directions, goals, tasks and solutions for the 2025-2030 period.

In addition, the congress will also select and elect comrades who are exemplary in political qualities, ethics, ideology, lifestyle and working capacity to the Party Committee in order to build a strong Party organization, lead the unit to successfully complete political tasks, and contribute to promoting the country's socio-economic development. The congress is organized under the motto: "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Creativity - Development".

At the congress, the Party members of the Trade Promotion Department focused on a number of important issues. First of all, in the process of researching and discussing contributions to the Congress documents, it is necessary to ensure an open and frank spirit, aiming for high consensus and unity within the Party. Delegates need to focus on in-depth analysis of solutions to successfully implement the set targets and objectives.

In addition, the Congress adheres to the principle of democratic centralism, creating a joyful, united, frank and sincere atmosphere to achieve high consensus. The election must be conducted wisely, selecting comrades with good political qualities, ethics, lifestyle, and at the same time have the appropriate qualifications and capacity to take on the roles of the Party Executive Committee, Secretary and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee. Those elected will be responsible for leading the Party Committee of the Trade Promotion Department to effectively implement the Congress Resolution.

The Party Congress of the Trade Promotion Department for the 2025 - 2030 term was held in an atmosphere where all cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers of the Trade Promotion Department enthusiastically competed to achieve achievements towards the 14th National Congress of the Party, the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025); the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) and the 25th anniversary of the founding of the Trade Promotion Department (July 6, 2000 - July 6, 2025).

Implementing Directive No. 35-CT/TW of the Politburo and plans of the Central, Government, and Ministry of Industry and Trade on organizing Party Congresses at all levels, the Trade Promotion Agency Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term is an important political activity, marking a new development stage. The Congress has the task of evaluating the results of the 2020-2025 term, setting out directions, goals and solutions for the next term, and at the same time electing exemplary Party Committees to lead the unit to successfully complete its political tasks, contributing to socio-economic development.
