(Baoquangngai.vn) - The thematic exhibition "Quang Ngai Tourism - The attraction of heritage and identity" is an activity within the framework of Quang Ngai Tourism Week 2025. The exhibition aims to introduce and promote the value of the province's unique heritage system to the public and tourists.

On the afternoon of April 12, at the Hoang Sa Fleet Exhibition House in charge of Bac Hai (Ly Son), the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the People's Committee of Ly Son district organized the opening of the thematic exhibition "Quang Ngai Tourism - Attraction from heritage and identity".

Quang Ngai is a land that marks the inheritance and exchange between ancient cultures, from Sa Huynh culture - one of the typical prehistoric cultures in Southeast Asia, to the brilliant Champa culture and the transformation in the process of expansion and development of Dai Viet culture. This place is also known as the land that converges and preserves many precious heritage values.

Speaking at the opening of the exhibition, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Thanh emphasized that, recognizing the importance of preserving and promoting heritage values, Quang Ngai focuses on implementing projects to protect and restore relics and scenic spots and develop unique tourism products. By 2030, the province will focus on building Ly Son into a center for sea and island tourism. At the same time, connecting Ly Son with the Sa Huynh tourism route and effectively exploiting the value of Sa Huynh cultural heritage associated with tourism, contributing to promoting sustainable development.

The exhibition introduces more than 300 documents and images of famous landscapes, tangible and intangible cultural heritages, reflecting the cultural identity of Quang Ngai. Along with that is a system of historical and legal documents affirming Vietnam's sovereignty over the Hoang Sa archipelago. The exhibition introduces two main contents: Heritage - identity of Quang Ngai and Hoang Sa archipelago belonging to Vietnam's territory.

The exhibition not only introduces and honors the rich heritage treasure of Quang Ngai but also conveys the message of sustainable development of the tourism industry, linking heritage conservation and tourism development, contributing to affirming the position of Quang Ngai on the tourism map of Vietnam and the world. The exhibition is also a bridge for visitors to explore attractive destinations on the journey to learn about the beauty of the land rich in cultural traditions of Ly Son.

The exhibition takes place over 4 days, from April 12-15, at the Hoang Sa Fleet Exhibition House, also in charge of Bac Hai (Ly Son).
