"Golden land" overlooking Han River is auctioned with starting price of nearly 900 billion VND

(Dan Tri) - The "golden land" area with the old headquarters of the Da Nang Customs Department, located on the road with the most "expensive" land price in Da Nang, will be put up for auction, with an expected starting price of nearly 900 billion VND.

The People's Committee of Da Nang City has just announced the auction of assets on land and the transfer of land use rights at the house and land facility No. 250-252-254 Bach Dang Street, Phuoc Ninh Ward, Hai Chau District.

The land area is over 3,310m2, including the building that used to be the headquarters of the Da Nang Customs Department. Prime location with long frontage on Bach Dang Street, facing the Han River.

The starting price for this land is over VND889 billion. Of which, the land use right value accounts for over VND879 billion and the value of assets on the land is nearly VND10 billion. The purpose of use is commercial service land, with a lease term of 50 years.

According to Dan Tri reporters, since the Da Nang Customs Department moved to its new headquarters on Xo Viet Nghe Tinh Street, this building has been handed over to the city for management. Since 2017, this land and 4-storey building have remained dormant.

The land is now protected and some areas are used as parking lots. Outside, the fence is rusted and overgrown with grass.

According to the latest adjusted price list of the Da Nang People's Committee, effective from January 1, the land price on the road from Le Duan to Nguyen Van Linh (the area from the Han River swing bridge to the Dragon bridge) is 286 million VND/m2. The "golden land" area 250-252-254 Bach Dang is also in the road section with the highest price in the city.

According to the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Da Nang, this year, the city plans to auction 16 large land plots, with an expected revenue of VND9,313 billion.

Regarding residential land, the city plans to auction 143 plots of land that have been planned for auction and 126 additional plots to the auction list. If the auction is successful, the land use fee is expected to be over VND1,437 billion.
