The Investigation Police Agency of Nui Thanh District Police has temporarily detained Thieu Thanh Tung; Thieu Thanh Toan was released on bail and banned from leaving his place of residence.
According to the investigation results, in 2019, while working as the Head of Ha Lam Branch of Son Ha Chu Lai International Company Limited (located in Nui Thanh District), Thieu Thanh Tung took advantage of his assigned position and authority to embezzle more than 350 million VND from the company for personal use.
Thieu Thanh Toan was prosecuted for embezzlement of property.
The Investigation Police Agency of Nui Thanh District Police determined that during this time, Thieu Thanh Toan, a sales employee of Son Ha Chu Lai International Company Limited, took advantage of his position and authority to embezzle more than 78 million VND from the company for personal use.
The case of two brothers embezzling property is being further investigated and clarified by the authorities of Quang Nam province.
