Construction of a rural bridge started in Thoi Thanh commune, Thanh Phu district.

Delegates started construction of concrete bridge in Xuong Thoi 1 hamlet, Thoi Thanh commune

Thoi Thanh Commune Party Committee Secretary Lam Thi Hoang Lan, Permanent Deputy Secretary of Thoi Thanh Commune Party Committee Nguyen Van Duc and representatives of local government, organizations and people.

The rural concrete bridge in Xuong Thoi 1 hamlet is 14m long, 3.3m wide and costs 143 million VND to build. The project was supported by the provincial Veterans Association, with 100 million VND from benefactors from District 8, Ho Chi Minh City, and 20 million VND from Dai Tinh Bridge and Road Construction Private Enterprise. The remaining 23 million VND was contributed by local people and the land where the project passes.

Vice President of the Provincial Association of War Veterans Nguyen Van Hai sincerely thanked the donors for supporting the construction of the bridge, contributing to creating many conveniences in traffic. At the same time, he hoped that in the coming time, the donors of District 8, Ho Chi Minh City will continue to support the implementation of many social security activities in the province.

The provincial Association of War Veterans recommends that local authorities perform well in community supervision; construction units ensure progress, techniques and quality of works.

According to plan, the rural bridge project in Xuong Thoi 1 hamlet will be completed before June 1, 2025.
