“In the near future, I will change the product design to highlight the title that customers and the Vietnam Consumer Protection Association have trusted and voted for,” Ms. Tien revealed. The two products, instant ginger tea and Co Mot cereal powder, have been recognized as 3-star OCOP products of the province.
The program to vote for products "Consumer trusted goods and services" is organized annually by the Vietnam Association for Consumer Protection to encourage domestic manufacturing enterprises and foreign-invested enterprises in Vietnam to improve the competitiveness of products and goods... helping consumers exercise their right to choose goods and services that are considered trustworthy.
The 2023 survey program will take place from April 2023 to April 2024 with the participation of 124 products belonging to 6 product groups including services, health care foods, industrial products, food groups, and spices from many localities in the country such as An Giang, Kien Giang, Tien Giang, Tay Ninh, Quang Nam, Nam Dinh, Thai Binh... After one year of launching, the Organizing Committee received 11,427 votes on the online voting system.
According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Van - owner of the lemon juice product, from the beginning, the collection, appraisal of registration documents, survey opinions, and synthesis of survey results were carried out according to the process, ensuring objectivity and honesty.

In addition, compliance with voting criteria such as quality, accurate and complete information about goods and services; competitive prices; customer care services; complaint settlement and compensation for damages; beautiful designs... makes the voting survey results very objective.
“This can be considered positive feedback from consumers for the voted products, so customers can feel secure and confident when using Nguyen Thi Hong Van lemon juice products,” Ms. Van said.
The whole province currently has 333 products of 260 entities recognized as 3-4 star OCOP, along with hundreds of start-up products, craft village products...
Therefore, the fact that Quang Nam products are included in the top "Consumer Trusted Goods and Services in 2023" is expected to promote the strong spread of Quang Nam product brands, opening up opportunities for local agricultural products to effectively enter the market.
Ms. Do Thi Hien - Head of Trade Management Department (Department of Industry and Trade) informed that this is the first year Quang Nam has had businesses register to vote with 11 participating products, and there are up to 5 entities and businesses with 8 products in the top 100, of which 1 product is in the top 50, which is a commendable result.
“This recognition is similar to the title of High-quality Vietnamese Goods, so it is very prestigious. In the coming time, the Department of Industry and Trade will guide these 5 entities and businesses to add logos, change designs... to promote the value of the award, highlight the title that the product has achieved, and help sell the product better,” said Ms. Hien.
