Meritorious Artist Vu Tu Lam and People's Artist Nhu Quynh in Cine7 - Memories of Vietnamese Films
In addition to giving audiences who were attached to the golden age of Vietnamese cinema moments of the past, Cine7 - Memories of Vietnamese Films also connects with the younger generation. The program creates a space for young people who are passionate about cinema to express their love in their own way.
In the first episode that aired on February 15 at 9 p.m. on VTV3, the audience met Meritorious Artist Vu Tu Lam and People's Artist Nhu Quynh again with footage from Den Hen Lai Len directed by People's Artist Tran Vu. This is a typical film about the revolutionary war of Vietnamese cinema, which was inspired by a documentary. The film premiered in 1974, set in the Quan Ho village of Bac Ninh before 1945, exploiting the theme of revolutionary history through the tragic, unfinished love story of the two main characters, Net (People's Artist Nhu Quynh) and Hai Chi (Meritorious Artist Vu Tu Lam). Because of poverty and social oppression, the two could not come together. At the 3rd Vietnam Film Festival (1975), Den Hen Lai Len won the Golden Lotus Award for Best Feature Film. People's Artist Nhu Quynh received the Golden Lotus Award for Best Actress. The two awards for director and cinematographer were given to Tran Vu and Nguyen Dang Bay. The film later won the main prize at the 1976 Karlovy Vary International Film Festival.
