(Dan Tri) - After Son Tung M-TP posted a photo taken at the park next to Notre Dame Cathedral (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City), fans immediately went there in the hope of meeting the male singer.

Previously, during the New Year's Eve concert on Nguyen Hue walking street (December 31, 2024), Son Tung M-TP invited fans to drink coffee with him at Notre Dame Cathedral.

Keeping his promise, at noon on January 3, Son Tung M-TP shared a photo of himself drinking coffee at 30/4 Park, next to Notre Dame Cathedral (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City). The male singer also made many people laugh with the moment he sat on a chair, looking bored because he had no one to date.

The post attracted more than 400,000 interactions after only 3 hours of posting. Notably, although the male singer did not reveal the specific time of his appearance at the April 30th park, some young people were still curious and went to the above location.

According to Dan Tri reporters, on the afternoon of January 3, some young people went to April 30 Park in the hope of meeting their idols.

Tran Chi (born in 2006, living in District 8) said that as soon as she saw Son Tung post the photo, she and her best friend immediately went to 30/4 Park to investigate. However, the two of them waited there for nearly an hour but did not see anything unusual.

Tran Chi shared: "We came here with the intention of taking check-in photos, not thinking we would be able to meet Son Tung M-TP. I guess he took this photo before."

A few minutes later, Thanh Thao (born in 1999, Go Vap district) and her boyfriend also rushed to 30/4 park to look for Son Tung M-TP. The girl also brought a glass of water and posed like Son Tung in the photo.

Thanh Thao said that even though she knew the chance of meeting Son Tung was very difficult, she still took advantage of her lunch break to go to the park to meet her idol. If she couldn't meet Son Tung, she still wanted to have a "virtual life" photo in the exact spot where the male singer used to sit.

In another case, Ngoc Nhi (born 2008, Tan Binh district) was present around Notre Dame Cathedral early in the morning to take souvenir photos. Although she did not intend to meet Son Tung M-TP, when the singer from Thai Binh posted the photo on his personal page, Ngoc Nhi was also present at this park.

However, she said: "At the time Son Tung M-TP posted, I was standing right at 30/4 park but didn't see him anywhere."

The reporter also asked some environmental sanitation workers and security guards around the 30/4 Park area, but no one saw Son Tung M-TP appear. Similarly, the owners of the sidewalk cafes near the Notre Dame Cathedral also confirmed that they did not see Son Tung M-TP stop by to buy coffee at their shops.

A shop owner said that in the past two days, many young people have come to the shop and asked for information about Son Tung M-TP, but she doesn't know.
