Hieuthuhai surprised when he surpassed Son Tung M-TP to win the award 'Male Singer of the Year'

After winning the "Most Favorite Male Singer" award at Lan Song Xanh 2024, Hieuthuhai suddenly stopped working because last year he had no independent products.

The 2024 Green Wave Awards ceremony held on the night of January 15 at Nguyen Du Stadium, Ho Chi Minh City was considered more successful and impressive than previous years, partly thanks to the growth of the music market in the past year, the enthusiasm of the fan community present at the event and the organization and script of the program.

During the awards night, rapper Hieuthuhai was one of the artists who received great affection from fans. When he first appeared at the event or when he performed and received the award, the audience shouted his name.

At the 27th season of Lan Song Xanh, this young singer won two important categories: "Male Singer/Rapper of the Year" (overwhelming with 44.2% of the votes) and "Most Favorite Male Singer/Rapper". Hieuthuhai's victory surpassed many other "heavyweight" candidates such as Son Tung M-TP, Soobin, Quang Hung MasterD, Phan Manh Quynh...

The male singer said that in the past year, he had no independent products, only a few songs with his colleagues when participating in Anh trai say hi. Therefore, when he heard the name of the award recipient, he was surprised and thought that the remaining candidates were completely worthy.

Hieuthuhai confided: "In this life, sometimes, we will feel disappointed. Why do we try so hard to achieve our goals but somewhere there are people talking about us. Those are people who do not want to see us succeed.

I want everyone to never give up, believe in yourself. All those obstacles only appear when everyone is on the right path. Wish all of us a memorable life."

On the female side, Tlinh won the "Female Singer/Rapper of the Year" category with a convincing number of votes (48.1%), affirming her success in building her own path. As for the "Most Favorite Female Singer/Rapper" category, Thieu Bao Tram won thanks to an effective year of work through Chi Dep Dap Gio 2024.

In the song-related categories, one of the "four pillars" of Lan Song Xanh was the "Song of the Year" award which went to Son Tung M-TP. He received 45.5% of the votes, a very high percentage for the song Dung Lam Trai Tim Anh Dau.

This song also helped Son Tung M-TP bring home the Top 10 favorite songs trophy, and was nominated in three other prestigious categories: "Phenomenal Song", "MV of the Year" and "Music Producer of the Year".

In addition, Son Tung M-TP also won the Top 10 favorite songs category with the song "We of the Future".

In the category "Program of the Year", the Green Wave Awards honored Anh trai say hi and Anh trai vu ngan cong gai. Over the past year, both programs have provided a large number of hits, many acts in these two programs appeared and stayed for quite a long time.

Musicians Duong Thu and Bao Chan received the "Green Wave Achievement" award.

In particular, the "Green Wave Achievements 2024" category honored two giants of Vietnamese music, musician Duong Thu and musician Bao Chan, recognizing their great contributions over many decades. When the announcement was made, many young artists stood up to applaud.

At the time the two musicians were honored, Ha Tran and Thanh Lam appeared, talking about their outstanding contributions to Vietnamese music.

Musician Duong Thu is known for his poetic and lyrical compositions. His music is like a colorful, delicate and profound painting, exploring the emotional aspects of the human soul. Musician Bao Chan leaves a strong impression with his soulful ballads, with gentle and emotional melodies. He is a name associated with the golden age of Lan Song Xanh.
