At an altitude of 1,400m above sea level, the natural scenery of Vu Quang National Park (Ha Tinh) appears majestic and wild with a rare richness and diversity in terrain, ecology and landscape.
Following the delegation to survey the province's tourism potential, we had the opportunity to explore the hidden values in Vu Quang National Park.
The goal this time is to explore an area deep inside Vu Quang National Park, which is about 1,400m above sea level. The group members must prepare carefully for the journey, including rice, canned food, hammocks, mosquito nets, etc.

After stopping to rest, eat rice balls and drink water from small streams, the group continued to cut down wild plants to create paths and diligently continued walking.
During the journey from 8am to 4pm, the members also had a better understanding of the landscape and ecosystem of Vu Quang National Park.
Vu Quang National Park has an area of over 57,029 hectares, spanning the territory of three districts: Vu Quang, Huong Khe and Huong Son.
The park is home to thousands of species of animals and plants, many of which are rare and in need of conservation. The park is located in a globally priority ecoregion, identified as being of critical importance for the conservation of biodiversity across rainforests, hilly and alpine areas.
Vu Quang National Park has a high difference in terrain from 30m - 2,380m above sea level, with high mountain ranges running from North to South, with strong terrain division, creating a rich and diverse terrain, ecology and landscape.

The park has 1,828 species belonging to 217 families of higher plants. The fauna has 94 species of mammals, 315 species of birds, 89 species of amphibians and reptiles, 88 species of bony fish, 316 species of butterflies...
Some elephants have also come to feed and live in Vu Quang National Park recently.
At the end of the survey trip, the delegation had a clearer view and perception of the values of natural landscape, biodiversity and historical culture of Vu Quang National Park. The survey trip will open up new directions to promote the potential and advantages of the park, becoming a center for eco-tourism, spirituality, connecting with highly competitive tours of the province...
On September 18, Ha Tinh province deployed a working group to survey and collect information to promote tourism investment in the localities. The survey team included An Thien Ly Construction and Service Company Limited (Ho Chi Minh City), local leaders, Vu Quang National Park, Huong Quang Border Guard Station and a number of press agencies. The program aims to survey and evaluate the potential and current status of infrastructure and service systems at Vu Mon waterfall (Huong Khe district), Vu Quang National Park and some neighboring localities to introduce tourism services to businesses; promote cooperation, linkage and experience sharing; receive feedback from members of the delegation to develop tourism products for Ha Tinh province. |
