The 24th "Bringing schools to candidates" program - 2025 will officially open on the morning of March 8 in Long An province.


On the morning of March 8, at Hau Nghia High School, Duc Hoa District, Long An Province, Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper will organize the 24th "Bringing School to Candidates" program - 2025 with the participation of more than 1,600 high school students and 200 teachers doing career guidance work in high schools.

The 2025 admissions are very important for the first students studying under the new General Education Program. Understanding the concerns of parents and students, the advisory board has carefully prepared information content, especially changes in the high school graduation exam and university and college admissions in 2025. In addition, the advisory board will relieve concerns about which major to choose, which school to apply for, how to apply, how to set your wishes to have more opportunities...

The program will welcome 1,600 students from 12 schools: Nguyen Huu Tho High School, Nguyen Trung Truc - Ben Luc High School, Go Den High School, Luong Hoa Secondary and High School, Vo Van Tan High School, Duc Hoa High School, An Ninh High School, Tan Tao University Gifted High School, Duc Hue High School, My Quy Secondary and High School, My Binh Secondary and High School and the host Hau Nghia High School. This is a great opportunity for students in Duc Hoa district, Long An province to approach experienced teachers to share and advise on issues they are worried about and concerned about as the exam season approaches.

Integrating vocational skills training

In this program, in addition to providing the latest information on exams and admissions, representatives of the Department of Higher Education and Career Guidance Experts from Ho Chi Minh City University of Education shared knowledge and skills on career guidance for more than 200 teachers from 8 high schools in the area. This is an integrated activity to improve the quality of the counseling program, more closely follow career guidance work in schools to help teachers and students learn about careers and human resource needs of the current labor market; create opportunities for teachers to meet directly with representatives of universities and colleges to learn about careers, thereby supporting their students in choosing a career and choosing a school. Teachers can interact with the counseling board to discuss issues that teachers are interested in; experts will support teachers with the most basic and important information to help teachers do better in career guidance work in schools.

At the program, representatives of universities and colleges will also provide information on enrollment, tuition policies, scholarships, etc.; and provide in-depth advice to students on choosing a suitable career and school.

The program will award 20 scholarships to students in Long An province who are in difficult circumstances but have excelled in their studies. These scholarships are taken from the "Scholarship Program to support ethnic minority and poor students" of the Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper.
