Provincial People's Committee Delegation: Inauguration and handover of gratitude houses in Cu Nam commune

The Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Women's Union presented a symbolic plaque to support financial support for Ms. Ngo Thi Hang's family.

Ms. Ngo Thi Hang currently has 3 school-age children. Her husband unfortunately had an accident and died about 2 years ago. She herself has been disabled since childhood and cannot work normally, so family life is difficult. In particular, the house she lives in is seriously degraded and unsafe during the rainy season, but Ms. Hang does not have enough money to repair it.

Faced with such difficult circumstances, the Provincial People's Committee has coordinated with relevant units to support funding to help rebuild a new house, with an area of ^​​126m2 , worth 350 million VND. The project started construction in November 2024 and was completed in January 2025.

Representative of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Cu Nam commune (Bo Trach) presented a symbolic sign of financial support to the family of Ms. Ngo Thi Hang.

In particular, the Provincial People's Committee called on the Provincial Women's Union to support 50 million VND; the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bo Trach district to support 50 million VND; the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Cu Nam commune to support 5 million VND; and youth union members and villagers to support working days.

At the inauguration ceremony, the Provincial People's Committee and related units presented a symbolic plaque of financial support and handed over the house of gratitude to Ms. Hang's family.

On this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee also presented Ms. Hang's family with 2 electric fans, 2 sets of study tables and chairs, 2 scholarships and 1 computer, with a total value of 13.8 million VND.

This is a meaningful and practical activity to promote the movement "Youth of the Provincial People's Committee join hands to build new rural areas", support the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses for poor and near-poor households in the province in the period of 2024-2025; at the same time, welcome the Party Congresses at all levels, celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
