Kaspersky, the global cybersecurity and digital security company, has appointed Sonic Technology Solutions Joint Stock Company as its second distributor in Vietnam for the B2B business customer segment.
With this cooperation, Kaspersky expects to expand its market share and strengthen its leading position in the field of enterprise security in Vietnam, in the context of companies of all sizes constantly striving to find solutions to protect digital assets and enhance security capabilities in cyberspace.
Mr. Nguyen Duy Tien, CEO of Sonic, shared: “This is an important milestone marking the cooperation between two prestigious units in the field of cyber security. In the near future, Sonic will closely cooperate with Kaspersky to deploy comprehensive support programs for partners, while providing advanced security solutions to customers in Vietnam, to optimally protect data and systems."
Kaspersky data shows that Vietnamese businesses are facing and being seriously affected by cyberattacks, with 17.1 million incidents recorded in 2023. Earlier this year, Kaspersky launched the Kaspersky Unified Monitoring Analysis Platform (KUMA) in the region, helping organizations and businesses improve their ability to prevent and respond to cyberattacks.
Mr. Yeo Siang Tiong, General Director of Kaspersky Southeast Asia, said: “The cooperation between Kaspersky and Sonic at this time will bring Vietnamese businesses advanced and innovative security solutions, helping to enhance protection against cyber attacks and consolidate their competitive position in the market.”
