K+ broadcasts 51 matches at Asian Cup 2023

K+ Television will broadcast all 51 matches of the 2023 Asian Cup and support the Vietnamese team in their hopes of advancing.

A representative of K+ Television said that over the years, the unit has always stood side by side and supported the dream of conquering the continental playground of the Vietnamese national team. The platform and fans will fuel the golden star warriors on their promising journey at the 2023 Asian Cup. Specifically, viewers can watch all 51 matches on VTV channels on the K+ system.

According to the AFC representative, the Vietnamese team came to the 2023 Asian Cup with the goal of repeating the achievement of reaching the quarterfinals similar to 2019. Coach Philippe Troussier and his students are in Group D with Japan, Indonesia, and Iraq.

In the opening match against Japan - the reigning runner-up and number one team in the continent, on January 14, the Vietnamese team showed a positive side when they played confidently, boldly launched attacks and did not even receive a yellow card despite the pressure from the opponent. In the end, Philippe Troussier's students lost 2-4, at one point leading Japan 2-1 in the first half.

The brave spirit of the Vietnamese team received a "shower" of praise from Asian football fans, including Japanese stars such as Takefusa Kubo and Takumi Minamino. Mr. Masatada Ishii - Head Coach of the Thai team - also highly appreciated the performance of the Golden Star Warriors, considering this an example for Thailand to follow.

A day later, Indonesia lost 1-3 to Iraq in their opening match, temporarily ranking below Vietnam due to a lower goal difference. The matches on January 19, Vietnam vs. Indonesia and Iraq vs. Japan, will determine the ranking of Group D. The final match on January 24, Vietnam vs. Iraq.

Not only broadcasting the 2023 Asian Cup, K+ also committed to accompanying and promoting domestic sports in the future. The unit also broadcasts other classic football matches such as: Premier League (exclusive broadcasting rights for 380 matches in Vietnam), Champions League, Europa League, FA Cup (FPT Play Sport package); and three national championships Serie A, Bundesliga and Ligue 1 (part of VTVCab channel package).

For sports fans, K+ is a suggestion when gathering many domestic and international tournaments such as: Roland Garros, DP World Tour, ATP Tour, PGA Tour, VBA, National Volleyball Championship, Lion Championship... (belonging to VTVCab channel package) and a series of other tournaments on On Sports and On Golf on K+ platform. The highlight is the exclusive broadcasting of the first Grand Slam of the year - Australian Open 2024 (January 14-28) and UFC, WRC events.
