Phu Ninh district has 2 communes meeting advanced new rural standards.

The Provincial People's Committee has just issued Decision No. 1581 and 1585 dated July 30, 2024 recognizing Trung Giap and Phu Loc communes (Phu Ninh district) as meeting advanced new rural standards in 2023.

According to the assessment report, Trung Giap commune achieved 19/19 criteria, 75/75 advanced new rural indicators according to regulations. The results of implementing some criteria and indicators were at a high level such as: Criterion No. 2 on traffic (100% of commune roads, area roads, and alley roads are all hardened); the rate of households with high-standard housing (reaching 100%); average income per capita reached 55.52 million VND/person/year; low multidimensional poverty rate (reaching 2.02%)...

Phu Loc commune has achieved 19/19 criteria, 75/75 advanced new rural indicators according to regulations. The results of implementing some criteria and indicators are at a high level such as: Criterion No. 2 on traffic (100% of commune roads, area roads, and alley roads are all hardened); Criterion No. 5 on education: 3/3 schools meet National standards level 1, of which 2 schools meet National standards level 2 (requirement: 100% meet level 1 facilities standards, of which 1 school meets level 2 facilities standards), the multidimensional poverty rate is low at 1.49% (requirement: ≤8%)...

The two communes of Trung Giap and Phu Loc were granted a Certificate of recognition by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for meeting the advanced new rural standards and were awarded 1 billion VND for investment in building welfare works. At the same time, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the People's Committee of Phu Ninh district to preside over and coordinate with the Provincial New Rural Coordination Office to organize the announcement and publicization of the achieved titles; continue to direct the maintenance and improvement of the quality of the criteria in the coming time.
