On the morning of September 14, the People's Committee of Cu Kuin district held an online meeting with localities to assess the socio-economic development situation, ensure national defense and security in the first 8 months of the year and deploy tasks for the remaining 4 months of 2023.

The conference focused on discussing, analyzing and evaluating the outstanding results in implementing socio-economic development targets of Cu Kuin district in the first 8 months of the year. Specifically, the total production value is estimated to be over 7,000 billion VND, reaching 68.5% of the yearly plan, up 11.49% over the same period; the average production value per capita is 68.39 million VND/person/year, reaching 68.5% of the plan, up 11.49% over the same period; the total social investment capital is estimated to be 988 billion VND, reaching 76% of the plan; up 6% over the same period.
Regarding national defense and security, the district has directed defensive combat drills, completed for 3 communes: Ea Tieu, Dray Bhang, Ea Bhok, and at the same time effectively implemented the work of preventing and fighting against all types of crimes and law violations. Social policies have been given attention and fully implemented, creating conditions for stabilizing and improving people's lives.

Speaking at the conference, Chairman of the People's Committee of Cu Kuin district Vo Tan Huy requested the specialized departments, offices, and People's Committees of communes to continue focusing on economic development, ensuring national defense, security, and social order and safety in the area. Focus on removing difficulties and obstacles in state budget collection. Implement vocational training well, create jobs for workers, strive to achieve and exceed the set targets and tasks.
