Bau Bang District: There are 35 products meeting 3-star OCOP standards

In recent times, the “One Commune One Product” (OCOP) Program has been identified by Bau Bang district as an important task, contributing to exploiting the local potential, enhancing the value of agricultural products, and developing the agricultural and rural economy. Up to now, the whole district has 35 products meeting OCOP standards (3 stars). In order for OCOP products to have a stable consumption market, the district’s functional departments, enterprises, production and trading units, and local people have been actively coordinating to build product brands, creating new opportunities to develop OCOP products.

According to the leader of Bau Bang District People's Committee, in order for the OCOP Program to be more effective, in the coming time, the functional sector will strengthen coordination to guide and support localities and entities to continue to widely implement the OCOP Program to develop commensurate with the potential and advantages of the district; organize exchange, display, promotion activities, and create motivation to bring local OCOP products to consumers.
