(Baoquangngai.vn) - Entering the peak tourist season, the number of visitors to Ly Son district has increased. Authorities and water transport businesses have implemented many measures to ensure safety and improve the quality of passenger transport services.
Ly Son is a land of convergence and exchange of the quintessence of great cultures such as Sa Huynh, Champa and Dai Viet. Ly Son is also considered a living museum, where valuable documents, materials and evidence affirming Vietnam's sovereignty over the East Sea are preserved. With a treasure trove of cultural heritage and unique historical values, Ly Son is an attractive destination, always attracting tourists.

At Sa Ky port and Ly Son port, each day welcomes more than 1,000 visitors, especially on weekends and during the current peak tourist season. To facilitate visitors from afar to buy tickets to Ly Son, the Port Management Board and the Provincial Inland Waterways Port Authority maintain an online ticket sales system.
All passengers who want to book tickets online for the Sa Ky - Ly Son route (and vice versa) can access the website: cangsaky.com.vn. The management board also sells boat tickets online for the Big Island - Small Island route, creating favorable conditions and necessary initiative for tourists who want to take a canoe to visit Small Island.

In response to the increasing demand for tourists visiting Ly Son Island during the days of the series of cultural, sports and tourism events in Ly Son district in April, the Port Management Board and the Provincial Inland Waterways Port Authority directed passenger and cargo transport units to develop a plan to arrange appropriate ship schedules to meet the transportation needs on the route. At the same time, they will pick up and drop off passengers on the right route, avoiding congestion.
