Ba Che District: Ensuring growth targets

To achieve the economic growth target of 18% or more, the district has urgently issued plans, developed growth scenarios, assigned specific and detailed tasks for each quarter, 6 months, 9 months and the whole year of 2025. In particular, focusing on directing the resolute completion of 8 groups of tasks and decisive solutions such as: Actively accompanying and supporting enterprises with large proportions in Nam Son Industrial Cluster, especially enterprises processing flooring, seafood processing... to ensure stability and increase production capacity. At the same time, the district supports accelerating the completion of the construction of the cinnamon processing factory in Don Dac commune in the second quarter, going into production in the third quarter of 2025 to quickly contribute to growth with great value. According to the plan, in 2025, the factory will operate at 50% capacity, contributing a production value of about 150 billion VND with cinnamon essential oil products.

The district supports acacia chip processing projects, maintains stable operations, increases capacity, purchases raw materials inside and outside the area, and continues to be the main contributor to industrial growth, expected to reach over 200 billion VND for the whole year. At the same time, consider allowing investment in a wood processing facility in Thanh Lam commune to ensure compliance with the general planning; support Hoang Thai Joint Stock Company to complete phase II site clearance in the second quarter of 2025, meeting the conditions to attract secondary investors in the third quarter of 2025. Along with that, the district supports the National Wood Joint Stock Company to complete the procedures to establish Thanh Lam Industrial Cluster 1 early; works with Thien Thuan Tuong Company to expand the scale of high-tech pig farming in Don Dac. The district focuses on directing the promotion of production, cultivation and livestock to offset the decline in forestry production value due to the impact of Typhoon Yagi, creating income and jobs on the spot. At the same time, speed up the development of community tourism, operate the highland market in Luong Minh commune, call for investment in exploiting the scenic spot of Lang Cang waterfall..., promptly start construction of 8/8 projects according to the district's plan in 2025 and start new projects with additional support from the provincial budget, to ensure the growth target of the construction industry and promote the development of other industries.

Thanks to that, in the first 3 months of the year, the growth value of economic sectors of Ba Che district was maintained at a high level, reaching more than 660 billion VND, up 19.8% over the same period. Agricultural and forestry production continued to develop stably. The total winter-spring crop planting area reached 1,368 hectares, reaching 58% of the plan, equal to 123% over the same period. The total concentrated forest planting area reached more than 4,000 hectares, reaching 80% of the plan, 2.8 times higher than the same period. Domestic state budget collection reached more than 31 billion VND, reaching 49.3% of the assigned estimate, equal to 164.3% over the same period. The value of industrial and handicraft production at current prices reached more than 220 billion VND, up 32.2% over the same period. The total public investment capital plan allocated to date has reached more than 405 billion VND, allocated to 49 projects, with disbursement progress reaching 8.7% of the capital plan at the beginning of the year.

The large timber forest of Mr. Chiu Sang Henh's family (Khe Man village, Don Dac commune) is 3 years old and is growing well.

Mr. Do Manh Hung, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Committee requested the district's specialized agencies and units, communes and towns to continue to promote the spirit of exemplary and responsible spirit, focus on socio-economic development tasks and the working theme for 2025 "Breakthrough in socio-economic development, determined to successfully implement the Resolution of the 25th Ba Che District Party Congress, creating momentum for the new term", ensuring the growth target of economic sectors reaching 18% or more. In particular, the district will continue to focus on improving the investment and business environment; strengthening investment promotion, accompanying, guiding, supporting, and resolving difficulties and problems for enterprises and business households to promote production development. Focus on improving the effectiveness and efficiency of management and operation of revenue and expenditure budget to serve the task of local socio-economic development. The district strives to collect at least 80% of the annual budget by the end of the second quarter of 2025; focuses on public investment, speeds up the progress and quality of approved projects and works, and ensures disbursement progress according to regulations.

The Chairman of the District People's Committee said that in 2025, Ba Che district will continue to develop the forestry economy, complete the target of planting large timber forests, native trees, and medicinal plants; effectively implement agricultural extension models, livestock and poultry farming associated with vaccination and disease prevention for people and livestock. In which, comprehensive priority will be given to the task of building advanced new rural areas, model new rural areas, and national target programs in the district.
