Responding to the National Art Photography Contest and Exhibition "Fatherland on the Shore"

Pursuant to Official Dispatch No. 190 dated March 7, 2025 of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission on coordinating the implementation of the 3rd National Art Photography Contest and Exhibition "Fatherland on the Shore"; so that the contest and exhibition become a political and social activity with widespread influence, the Provincial Party Standing Committee requests departments, branches, sectors, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations of the province to thoroughly disseminate to cadres, party members, civil servants, union members and association members to actively respond and participate in the contest.

Quang Nam Newspaper, Quang Nam Radio and Television Station, the Provincial Journalists Association, and the Provincial Literature and Arts Association opened special pages and columns to promote information and propaganda about the contest so that a large number of cadres, party members and people could participate and respond; at the same time, thoroughly educate cadres, reporters and members to actively participate in the contest.

District, town, city Party Committees, and Party Committees directly under the Provincial Party Committee direct functional agencies to promote information and propaganda about the significance of the contest; guide, encourage, and motivate cadres, party members, civil servants, soldiers, and people to actively participate in response to create a widespread impact about the contest.

The third national art photography contest and exhibition "Fatherland on the Shore" aims to continue to propagate and affirm the correct policies and guidelines of the Party and State, and the efforts of localities in implementing the Strategy for sustainable development of Vietnam's marine economy to 2030, with a vision to 2045; practically towards the country's important anniversary events in 2025 and welcoming the Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party.

At the same time, raise public awareness of the position and role of seas and islands in the cause of national construction and protection; affirm the sacred sovereignty of the seas and islands of the Fatherland through the art of photography, conveying the message of patriotism and the will to protect the seas and islands of the Vietnamese people.

Through the contest and exhibition, we promptly encourage and honor the participation and response of all classes of people, especially artists - those who love photography to create many new works, valuable in content and art, effectively serving the propaganda work as well as the cultural and spiritual life of the people.

The creative space includes 28 coastal provinces and cities: Quang Ninh, Hai Phong, Thai Binh, Nam Dinh, Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Hue, Da Nang, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Phu Yen, Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan, Binh Thuan, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Ho Chi Minh City, Tien Giang, Ben Tre, Tra Vinh, Soc Trang, Bac Lieu, Ca Mau and Kien Giang.

For single photo works, the creation time is from 2023 to present; for photo series, the creation time is encouraged from 2023 to present. The time to receive entries is from March 10 to July 10, 2025. Authors submit photos directly at the website: www.anhnghethuatbiendaoquehuong2025.com.

The award structure includes 2 award systems for 2 categories of single photos and photo series:

- 2 First prizes, each prize includes a crystal logo, certificate and a cash prize of 20 million VND from the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee and a Gold medal and certificate from the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists.

- 4 Second prizes, each prize includes a crystal logo, certificate and a cash prize of 15 million VND from the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee and a Silver medal and certificate from the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists.

- 6 Third prizes, each prize includes a crystal logo, certificate and a cash prize of 10 million VND from the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee and a Bronze medal and certificate from the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists.

- 10 Consolation prizes, each prize includes a crystal logo, certificate and a bonus of 5 million VND from the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee and a certificate from the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists.
