Attending the ceremony were comrades: Nguyen Thi Thanh An - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism; Tran Thi Kim Phuong - Head of the Provincial Monument Management Board; Tran Thi Cam Tu - Vice Chairman of Vinh City People's Committee.

According to legends circulated among the people, Holy Mother Lieu Hanh is a saint in the "Four Immortals" and was granted many royal decrees by Vietnamese feudal dynasties from the Le to the Nguyen dynasties, honored as "Mother of the world" (Mother of all people), and worshiped and honored by people across the country.

In Vinh city, there are many relics worshiping the Holy Mother Lieu Hanh, including the Mother Temple. However, due to time and the ups and downs of history, these relics have been severely degraded. With deep affection and strong faith, the people have moved the system of statues in the Mother Temple to the Hong Son Temple.
For many years, Hong Son Temple has become a gathering place for people and tourists from all over to come and offer incense and pray to the Holy Mother Lieu Hanh.

The death anniversary of Holy Mother Lieu Hanh is held on the 3rd day of the 3rd lunar month every year at Hong Son Temple. This is a spiritual and cultural activity of the people of Vinh city to turn to the origin of the nation, to turn to the Mother, to pray for national peace and prosperity, and for every family to be warm, prosperous and happy.
The death anniversary of the Holy Mother is a meaningful activity in preserving and promoting traditional cultural values, contributing to building an advanced Vietnamese culture imbued with national identity.

Commemorating the death anniversary of Holy Mother Lieu Hanh is an occasion to remind all classes of people to respect and be grateful to their ancestors who built and defended the country so that today we can have a peaceful, independent, prosperous and happy life.
