More than 70,000 people returned to Sen village on the occasion of Uncle Ho's birthday.

According to the Management Board of Kim Lien National Special Relic Site (Nghe An), from May 11 to 19, the Relic Site welcomed 2,837 delegations with more than 72,000 domestic and international visitors to visit and offer flowers in memory of President Ho Chi Minh. Of which, 17 foreign delegations with 187 guests mainly came from countries such as Laos, France, Japan, Korea, USA, Taiwan, Sweden, Australia, etc.

To prepare well for welcoming domestic and foreign tourists to offer incense and flowers on the occasion of the 134th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2024) and the Sen Village Festival in 2024, the management board of the Kim Lien National Special Relic Site has implemented the plan very early.

Since the beginning of April, the relic site has started replacing the clusters of happy flags, national flags, slogan banners, panels, and posters in parking lots, roads, and the tomb area of ​​Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan, mother of President Ho Chi Minh.

During the 9 days of the Sen Village Festival, from May 11-19, the People's Committee of Nghe An province organized many exciting and meaningful activities taking place in Vinh City, Nam Dan District and Cua Lo Town. Besides the solemn and sacred ceremonies, there were rich and diverse activities in the fields of culture, sports and tourism.

Under the thatched roof of Uncle Ho's hometown, visitors can listen to the tour guide tell stories about Uncle Ho's hometown, family and childhood.

Highlights include the opening ceremony of the festival with performances by the Song and Dance Theater, along with the Brass Band, the Ceremonial Team and the Cavalry Team of the Ministry of Public Security; the Sen Village Singing Festival with the participation of more than 600 artists and actors from 20 mass art troupes from districts, cities and towns; performances of Vi and Giam folk songs and art performances to serve the people; the exhibition of thematic photos "Ho Chi Minh - the most beautiful name" with nearly 200 photos and documents about the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh; the contest "Uncle Ho in the hearts of Nghe An youth"; the volleyball and traditional martial arts tournament of the whole province...
