More than 56% of candidates scored below 5 points in math in the 10th grade exam.

The list of 10th grade exam scores in Ho Chi Minh City has 98,882 candidates with scores. However, if only considering the number of candidates with all 3 columns of scores in math, literature, and foreign language, the city has 98,464 candidates.

In math, only 43,200 candidates scored 5 points or higher. 55,464 candidates scored below average in math.

The 10th grade math exam in Ho Chi Minh City in 2024 is considered more difficult than previous years. After the exam, many opinions predicted that this year's exam scores would be lower than previous years.

Thus, compared to 2023, the percentage of candidates with math scores below 5 points in 2024 increased by 10%. Last year, about 46% of candidates had math scores below 5.

As every year, English is the subject with the most 10s out of the three 10th grade exam subjects. However, the number of candidates with scores below 5 is also not small.

Although literature does not have a 10, the number of exams with below average scores is the lowest of the three subjects.

From June 21 to 24, we will accept applications for 10th grade exam score review.

After reviewing the 2024 grade 10 exam scores, candidates can request a review of their exam from June 21 to 24. The review will be completed before June 30.

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training also said: No later than 4:00 p.m. on June 24, the department will announce the admission scores for specialized 10th grade, integrated 10th grade, and direct admission results.

It is expected that on July 10, the department will announce the 10th grade admission benchmark scores and the list of candidates admitted to grade 10 for the 2024-2025 school year.
