On April 6, at the Hung King Temple (Binh Thuy District), the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Can Tho City organized the 4th Can Tho City Cross-Country Race in 2025. This is one of the activities to celebrate the Hung King's death anniversary (March 10th of the lunar calendar).

The tournament gathered more than 4,200 athletes from departments, branches, districts, schools, hospitals and many organizations and individuals living, studying and working in Can Tho. There were 4 competition categories for men and women. The time limit for each athlete to complete the competition was 150 minutes.
Accordingly, male athletes competing in the 10km distance are divided into 2 age groups: 50 years old and under and 51 years old and over. In the women's event, the 5km distance is divided into 2 age groups: 40 years old and under and 41 years old and over.

Mr. Truong Cong Quoc Viet, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Can Tho City, said that cross-country running demonstrates the determination, strength, as well as the flexibility and endurance of the participants. In recent times, this sport has received much attention from the community, is organized annually, and has continuously raised its reputation. This contributes to promoting the sports movement and promoting the campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho".
In the final results, in the 10 km men's category, athlete Mao Quoc Tien won first place in the age group of 50 and under, athlete Le Hong Hiep won first place in the age group of 51 and over. In the 5 km women's category, athlete Doan Thi Hien won first place in the age group of 40 and under, athlete Nguyen Hong Hanh won first place in the age group of 41 and over.
Each distance will award medals and cash prizes to the first 10 finishers. First prize is 2.5 million VND, second prize is 1.5 million VND, third prize is 1 million VND, and from 4th to 10th place receive 500,000 VND.
