PhuthoPortal - On March 31, 2025, at the Hung Vuong Museum (Viet Tri city), the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Phu Tho and Vinh Phuc provinces jointly organized the opening ceremony of the thematic exhibition "Hung Vuong Culture in the flow of Red River civilization". This is an important cultural activity, part of the series of activities of the Cultural - Tourism Week of the Ancestral Land in the year of At Ty 2025.

Attending the opening ceremony were comrades: Associate Professor, Doctor Bui Hoai Son - Standing Member of the National Assembly's Committee on Culture and Education; Nguyen Huy Ngoc - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Tho province, Head of the Organizing Committee of the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day and the Cultural - Tourism Week of the Ancestral Land in the year of At Ty 2025; leaders of the Cultural - Social Committee of the People's Council of Phu Tho province; leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Phu Tho and Vinh Phuc provinces; leaders of the Museum of Military Region 2 and the Museums of Vinh Phuc, Hoa Binh, Yen Bai provinces; representatives of the leaders of departments, branches, sectors, and organizations that are members of the Organizing Committee of the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day and the Cultural - Tourism Week of the Ancestral Land in the year of At Ty 2025, along with a large number of teachers and students of Viet Tri city.

The thematic exhibition "Hung King Culture in the Flow of Red River Civilization" at the Hung King Museum takes place from March 24 to April 20, 2025. With more than 300 unique, typical and characteristic artifacts from the cultural periods of the ancient Vietnamese people and some valuable documentary images throughout history, this exhibition brings visitors a relatively panoramic picture of the dawn of Vietnamese history.
The exhibits are diverse in materials such as stone, pottery, bone, horn, bronze; rich with collections of weapons, tools in production, jewelry, etc., clearly showing the brilliant development period of the Red River civilization. In addition, the exhibition content about "Hung King worship" and "Phu Tho Xoan singing" - the journey after being recognized as a representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity are also displayed to serve the needs of the public to learn and research.

Leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Phu Tho and Vinh Phuc provinces presented flowers to congratulate the Hung Vuong Museum of Phu Tho province and the Museum - Library of Vinh Phuc province.

On this occasion, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Phu Tho province organized a test screening of the documentary "The Hung Kings' Era", produced with full HD technology, using 3D effects to serve visitors at the Hung Kings Museum.
Through the exhibition, the aim is to educate the traditional morality of "When drinking water, remember its source", to show respect and deep gratitude to the merits of the Hung Kings; to honor the unique and typical cultural values ​​of the Hung King era in the two provinces of Phu Tho and Vinh Phuc. This is also a message to call for the responsibility of the people in the work of preserving and promoting the value of traditional cultural heritage in community life. Thereby, contributing to nurturing the soul, raising the sense of responsibility to build an increasingly rich and beautiful homeland for the young generation; at the same time, creating opportunities for exchange and improving the professional work of the two Museums in preserving and promoting the value of Vietnamese cultural heritage in the period of integration and development.

Leaders of Military Region 2 Museum and the Museums of Hoa Binh and Yen Bai provinces presented flowers to congratulate Hung Vuong Museum of Phu Tho province and Vinh Phuc Provincial Museum - Library.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, the leader of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Phu Tho province affirmed: Phu Tho province and Vinh Phuc province are ancient lands, where many indigenous cultural values ​​originated and were preserved from the Hung King period and the formation of the Red River civilization that are still preserved today. Those indigenous cultural values ​​are clearly expressed through tangible and intangible cultural values. Among them, there are collections of artifacts excavated in archaeological sites from the Paleolithic period to the sites of the Pre-Hung King period and the successive Hung King period of the continuous development of the Red River civilization such as: Phung Nguyen, Dong Dau, Go Mun, Dong Son. Those important vestiges are the most specific and clear evidence for the process of formation and construction of the first state of the Vietnamese people - the Van Lang State.
