More than 300,000 students enter new school year

According to the Department of Education and Training of Ba Ria-Vung Tau province, in the 2024-2025 school year, the province will have 463 schools, a decrease of 7 schools compared to the previous school year. Of these, there are 195 kindergartens, 139 primary schools, 91 secondary schools and 38 high schools. In addition, there is 1 provincial continuing education center and 5 district continuing education centers.

In the 2024 school year, preschool level will have 12,988 nursery children/581 classes and 55,419 kindergarten children/1,928 classes; primary level will have about 113,168 students/3,164 classes; secondary level will have about 86,297 students/2,118 classes; high school level will have about 39,948 students/1,012 classes.
