More than 288,000 beautiful car license plates will be 'on the floor' for the second auction

On the evening of November 10, the Traffic Police Department (Ministry of Public Security) issued a notice about the list of car license plates to be auctioned at the second Car License Plate Auction.

In the list of license plates put up at the second auction, there were a total of 288,668 license plates from 63 provinces and cities across the country.

People and organizations can participate in auctions of all localities, without being limited by permanent address or headquarters location.

The license plates will be posted for 1 month from November 10 to December 10 for people to choose.

According to records, at the second auction, Hanoi's license plates were auctioned the most with more than 49,000 license plates, followed by Ho Chi Minh City with more than 41,000 license plates.

Previously, at the first auction, the Ministry of Public Security put 153,104 license plates up for auction.

Major General Nguyen Van Trung - Director of the Traffic Police Department said that as of October 22, 3,254 license plates had been successfully auctioned; the total asset value was over 538 billion VND.

There are 2,432 auctioned plates whose payment procedures have been completed by the auctioneers with the amount of more than 298 billion VND. "Thus, on average, each day, the auction brings in about 23 billion VND for the State," Major General Nguyen Van Trung informed.

When is the car license plate auction forced to stop? According to the regulations on online car license plate auctions issued by Vietnam Joint Stock Auction Company, there are specific cases that force the auction to stop.
