Attending the event were 1,000 delegates including professors, associate professors, doctors, nurses, pharmacists, technicians related to endocrine diseases - diabetes and students from medical universities and colleges across the country to report, share experiences and update modern medical knowledge.
Dr. Nguyen Van Vy Hau, Deputy Director of Gia Dinh General Hospital, Head of the conference organizing committee, said that in the context of the increasing number of people with diabetes and diseases related to endocrine disorders, such as thyroid disease, adrenal gland disease, pituitary disease, infertility/sterility due to endocrine causes, promoting training activities, scientific research, and applying new medical technology advances to medical examination and treatment is extremely practical to meet the needs of people for effective and safe health care.
On that basis, the organizing committee creates maximum conditions for delegates to participate in the conference in both on-site and online forms with the hope that the conference will become a bridge for medical staff across the country to exchange professional expertise, learn new knowledge and practical experience from leading experts.

With the attraction of the topic of endocrinology - diabetes, the conference received more than 200 specialized papers and scientific research from 50 professors, associate professors, 43 doctors, 93 masters, specialists and especially the participation of 38 pharmacists and nurses reporting on research and improvements in the process of caring for and providing medicine to patients. According to information from the organizing committee, this is the first time a medical conference in the region has organized reporting sessions specifically for nurses and pharmacists.
