Scientific workshop on protecting the Party's ideological foundation

On the morning of June 9, at the Provincial Conference Center, the Provincial Party Committee organized a scientific workshop on protecting the Party's ideological foundation and fighting against erroneous and hostile viewpoints in the new situation.

Comrades: Vu Xuan Cuong, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the Steering Committee of 35 provinces; Duong Duc Huy, Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Deputy Head of the Steering Committee of 35 provinces; Hua Tan Hung, Principal of the Provincial Political School co-chaired the workshop.

In his opening speech, Comrade Vu Xuan Cuong, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the Steering Committee for 35 provinces, requested the delegates attending the workshop to focus on giving opinions, comments, and additions to the content of the presentations, issues that are still unclear and unclear from the perspective of each sector, each level, at the agency and locality; pointing out the methods and approaches that have been effectively implemented in the current work of protecting the ideological foundation. At the same time, put forward initiatives, proposals, and recommendations to strengthen the fight to protect the Party's ideological foundation, aiming to find comprehensive and synchronous solutions associated with the functions and tasks of agencies, units, levels, and sectors in implementing the work of "building" and "fighting"; going from "correct identification" to "correct action"...

Delegates participated in expressing opinions and discussing a number of contents such as: Enhancing the role and responsibility of the press and media in building a safe and clean information and social network environment; promoting the role of lecturers and teachers at the Provincial Political School, district-level political centers, and teachers of universities and colleges in protecting the Party's ideological foundation and fighting against erroneous and hostile views in the current situation; the Youth Union with the task of educating union members, youth, and teenagers to identify and fight against erroneous and hostile views in the new situation in the locality; experiences and solutions in protecting the Party's ideological foundation and fighting against erroneous and hostile views in the fields of politics, economics, culture, national defense, and security in the locality...

At the workshop, delegates listened to Comrade Vu Trong Ha, Chief of Office, full-time member of the Central Steering Committee 35, share experiences in identifying plots and sabotage methods of hostile forces in the current period; suggest contents and solutions for the Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, and Steering Committee 35 at all levels to continue to lead, direct and synchronously implement a number of solutions to protect the Party's ideological foundation, effectively combat and refute erroneous and hostile viewpoints in accordance with practical requirements.

Through the workshop, the current situation and solutions of all levels and sectors on strengthening the protection of the Party's ideological foundation were correctly assessed, while at the same time creating a spreading force, further enhancing the role of the People in awareness of protecting the Party's ideological foundation, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the Party Congresses at all levels.
