The 2nd Conference of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Fatherland Front Committee (term XV)

On the morning of September 17, the Standing Committee of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Fatherland Front Committee held the second conference (term XV) online to disseminate and study the Resolution of the 15th Provincial Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2024-2029; summarize the work of directing, guiding and organizing the Fatherland Front Congresses at all levels, the results of the special emulation campaign to welcome the Fatherland Front Congresses at all levels, term 2024-2029 and some other important contents.

At the conference, Comrade Pham Thi Thanh Thuy, Standing Committee member, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, disseminated and implemented the Resolution of the 15th Provincial Fatherland Front Congress, term 2024-2029. The Resolution agreed on 6 Action Programs for implementation, including: Propaganda, mobilization, gathering people of all walks of life; consolidating and enhancing people's trust in the Party and State, enhancing social consensus to promote the strength of the great national unity bloc, arousing the aspiration to build a rich and civilized Thanh Hoa homeland; improving the quality and effectiveness of social supervision and criticism, implementing democracy, preventing corruption, waste, and negativity; participating in building a clean and strong Party and government; motivating people of all walks of life to compete, be creative, and effectively carry out campaigns and emulation movements; Do well the work of people's foreign affairs, strengthen the gathering and mobilization of Thanh Hoa people living and working at home and abroad to build their homeland; continue to innovate the organizational structure, innovate the content and methods of operation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, improve the capacity of the Front's staff to meet the requirements and tasks in the new period and the program of building self-governing, united, prosperous and happy residential areas.

According to the summary report on the direction, guidance and organization of the Fatherland Front Congresses at all levels, with the close leadership and direction of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and Party committees and authorities at all levels, the initiative and creativity of the Front system from the province to the grassroots, the Fatherland Front Congresses at all levels were successfully held, becoming a broad political activity, creating a strong change in the awareness and actions of the political system and all classes of people in promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc.

In the special emulation campaign to welcome the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels have carried out more than 600 projects, worth over 60 billion VND, including 325 projects on social security, 254 projects on environmental improvement, upgrading and expanding roads, and 28 projects in other fields. Many activities took place before the opening session of the Congress, creating an exciting, united and unified atmosphere contributing to the successful organization of the Congress, focusing on summarizing the online quiz contest to learn about the history of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the history of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in Thanh Hoa province; the program to meet and commend typical grassroots Front officials of Thanh Hoa province in the period 2019-2024. Organizing a conference to summarize 15 years of implementing the Campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods". Coordinating the organization of the exhibition "Promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc to build Thanh Hoa into a rich, beautiful and civilized province" and the "Solidarity - Creativity" Festival; praising initiatives in the "Creative Solidarity" movement in the period of 2021-2023. At the conference, the Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission and Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 24 collectives and 9 individuals for their outstanding achievements in organizing the Fatherland Front Congresses at all levels and in the special emulation campaign to welcome the Fatherland Front Congresses at all levels, the 15th Provincial Fatherland Front Congress, towards the 10th Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress, term 2024-2029.

Members of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee approved the Draft Working Regulations of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, term XV, 2024-2029.

The conference also approved the Draft Working Regulations of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, term XV, 2024-2029; approved the draft Working Program of the entire term XV of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; the draft Action Program to implement the Resolution of the 15th Provincial Fatherland Front Congress; and the plan to implement the Resolution of the 15th Provincial Fatherland Front Congress, term 2024-2029.

The leaders of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee congratulated the newly elected members of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, term XV.

The conference also negotiated to elect an additional member of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, term XV.
