Digital transformation training conference for the Culture, Sports and Tourism sector of Nam Dinh province.

Attending the conference were Mr. Vu Duc Tho - Member of the Party Committee - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nam Dinh province, along with more than 250 managers and specialists of state management departments; leaders and officials of public service units under the Department; leaders of the Department of Culture, Science and Information, the Center for Culture, Information and Sports, civil servants in charge of technology and information in districts and cities.

In his opening speech, Mr. Vu Duc Tho - Member of the Party Committee - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nam Dinh province said: In recent years, the provincial culture, sports and tourism sector has made remarkable progress, contributing significantly to the preservation and promotion of traditional cultural values, enriching the spiritual life of the people and promoting the socio-economic development of the province. However, to better meet the increasing needs of society in the digital age, to bring Nam Dinh culture further, to reach more audiences, especially the young generation, promoting digital transformation is a strategic and vital task.

Mr. Vu Trong Que, Member of the Party Central Committee, Director of the Department of Science and Technology, conveyed the basic contents of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW.

At the conference, Mr. Vu Trong Que, Member of the Party Central Committee, Director of the Department of Science and Technology, conveyed the basic contents of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation.

Along with that, the Conference listened to experts introduce virtual assistant software, skills to exploit and use some AI in handling work of officials, civil servants, cultural, information, sports and tourism officials; application of information technology in handling work in the network environment, instructions on using ChatGPT application and some similar software; advanced word processing skills; some issues on information security in the digital environment and some content related to digital transformation in the field of culture, information and tourism.

The training conference was organized with the aim of equipping basic and updated knowledge and skills on digital transformation for cadres, civil servants, public employees and those working in culture, information, sports and tourism in the province; propagating the Party and State's guidelines, policies and regulations on digital transformation; digital applications in the cultural field; ways to build and deploy effective digital transformation models as well as challenges and opportunities in the current context.
