Provincial Reporters Conference November 2024

On the morning of November 29, in Binh Lieu district, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department coordinated with Binh Lieu District Party Committee to organize a provincial-level reporter conference for November 2024.

At the conference, Comrade Ly Van Binh, Standing Deputy Secretary of Binh Lieu District Party Committee, informed about the process of construction and growth of Binh Lieu district over the past 105 years. Especially the journey to build the district to meet new rural standards in 2023, making Binh Lieu the first mountainous, border and ethnic district in the country to be recognized as meeting new rural standards according to the criteria for the period 2021-2025.

Comrade Vu Duy Thanh, Deputy Director of the Department of Foreign Policy, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, delivered a presentation on the topic "World and regional situation and foreign affairs of our Party and State in recent times; forecast of world situation and foreign affairs tasks in the coming time" at the conference.

Reporters, propagandists, and social opinion collaborators of the province also listened to Mr. Vu Duy Thanh, Deputy Director of the Department of Foreign Policy, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, deliver a presentation on the topic "World and regional situations and foreign affairs of our Party and State in recent times; forecast of world situation and foreign affairs tasks in the coming time". Through the presentation, the Deputy Director of the Department of Foreign Policy, Ministry of Foreign Affairs clarified the increasing strategic competition between major countries, the decline of the world economy, escalating conflicts in Ukraine, the Middle East, the Red Sea, increasing tensions in the Korean peninsula and the Taiwan Strait, as well as the complicated developments of natural disasters, climate change, energy security, food, and cyber security. These are all issues of concern to cadres, party members, and people, especially in the context of the world situation continuing to develop in a complicated and unpredictable manner.

Comrade Nguyen Thi Kim Nhan, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, oriented propaganda work in the coming time.

Orienting the propaganda work in the coming time, Comrade Nguyen Thi Kim Nhan, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, requested the Propaganda Departments of Party Committees under socio-political organizations, reporters and propagandists at all levels to focus on disseminating and propagating the following key contents: Results of the Central Executive Committee Conference on November 25, 2024, focusing on information and propaganda on important contents approved by the Central Executive Committee, especially determined to implement the policy of summarizing Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW dated October 25, 2017 of the 12th Party Central Executive Committee "Some issues on continuing to innovate and reorganize the apparatus of the political system to be streamlined, effective and efficient" and the closing speech of the General Secretary at the summary conference; propagating the strong innovation of the Party's leadership and governing methods, the urgent requirements of the new revolutionary stage; mobilize cadres, party members, union members, association members and people of all walks of life to actively participate in the direct election of village, hamlet and neighborhood heads for the 2025-2027 term; socio-economic development results, outstanding achievements and implementation of the 2024 working theme; widely disseminate Directive No. 35-CT/TW dated June 14, 2024 of the Politburo and Plan No. 439-KH/TU of the Provincial Party Committee on organizing Party congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party.

Previously, on November 28, reporters, propagandists, and social opinion collaborators of the province also visited typical collective models in studying and following Uncle Ho in Binh Lieu district and exchanged experiences between localities and units in the whole province.
