The Provincial People's Committee has just issued a plan to organize the Quang Ninh OCOP Fair - Spring 2025. According to the plan, the Fair will take place from January 17 to January 22, 2025 (ie from December 18 to December 23, Giap Thin year) at the Quang Ninh Provincial Planning, Fair and Exhibition Center.
The fair will arrange 200 standard booths, divided into 4 areas; the areas are arranged with prefabricated houses with roofs for all booths. Accordingly, area 1 has about 100 booths introducing typical products, OCOP products of districts, towns and cities of Quang Ninh. Area 2 arranges 80 booths to display and introduce OCOP products, typical agricultural products of provinces, cities and domestic economic organizations. Area 3 arranges 20 booths for small and medium enterprises trading in products serving Lunar New Year such as cakes, jams, candies, drinks, decorative handicrafts... Area 4 is the symbolic space of the Quang Ninh OCOP program associated with the symbolic cultural space of Spring to serve the need to take souvenir photos, create a media effect, and create a joyful atmosphere to welcome the New Year 2025 for people when coming to the Fair.
In addition, the Organizing Committee also arranged a stage to serve the Art Program Celebrating the Party - Celebrating the Spring of At Ty 2025 associated with the Opening Ceremony of the Fair and Announcing the ranking of Quang Ninh OCOP products in 2024.
Quang Ninh OCOP Fair - Spring 2025 is an annual trade promotion activity in the Program "One Commune, One Product" of Quang Ninh province, held before Lunar New Year to provide a rich source of goods with good quality to serve people and tourists to celebrate the traditional New Year. At the same time, it is one of the practical activities to stimulate consumption at the end of the year associated with the implementation of the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" and "Quang Ninh people prioritize using goods and services produced and traded in Quang Ninh province", thereby contributing to increasing the total retail sales index of goods and consumer services in the province from the beginning of 2025.
The opening ceremony of the Fair will take place at 7:30 p.m. on January 17, 2025 at the outdoor stage of the Quang Ninh Provincial Planning, Fair and Exhibition Palace.
