Students of the Specialized High School received a full scholarship worth more than 10 billion VND from a prestigious university in the US.

​Wesleyan University is ranked 14th among liberal arts colleges in the United States (US News), located in the state of Connecticut. Only 5% of international students are admitted to the school and there is only one scholarship, the Freeman Asian Scholarship, for 11 students from 11 Asian countries. Hoang Manh Quan is honored to be the Vietnamese student to receive this prestigious scholarship. The Freeman Asian Scholarship 2025 will cover all costs for 4 years of study at the school (including tuition, accommodation, living expenses, airfare, health insurance, etc.)

Previously, during his studies at Tuyen Quang High School for the Gifted, Hoang Manh Quan achieved many achievements such as: First prize for excellent students at the provincial level in English for grade 12 in the 2024-2025 school year; Second prize for excellent students at the provincial level in English for grade 11 (advancing level) for the 2022-2023 school year; First prize for English Talent at the provincial level in the 2022-2023 school year; First prize for the Provincial Science and Technology Competition (KHKT) for the 2022-2023 school year; Bronze Medal for the Excellent Students Selection Competition in the Coastal and Northern Delta regions in the 2022-2023 school year; Gold Medal for English at the 18th Hung Vuong Summer Camp in the 2024-2025 school year; Special Prize for the Creativity Competition for Youth and Children of Tuyen Quang City in the 2023-2024 school year; Encouragement prize for excellent students at the National level in English for the 2023-2024 school year; Second prize in the IBS.BFSU “Future Business Elite” competition, an international business case competition for high school students of the International Business School - Beijing Foreign Studies University for the 2024-2025 school year. Along with that, my IELTS score is also 8.5.
