At around 6am on August 26, in the yard of Nguyen Thai Binh Secondary School (District 6), there was the sound of laughter and conversation of students who had just met each other after 3 months of summer vacation.
In particular, this year, students of Nguyen Thai Binh Secondary School started studying in a new, spacious and modern school.
The school has an area of nearly 19,000m2, with a total investment of nearly 162 billion VND, including 40 classrooms and functional rooms (laboratory practice rooms, technology rooms, labs), football field, gymnasium, cafeteria, etc.
"The school is not only new, but also spacious and green. I really like it. These things will help me study better," Ha Phuong (6th grade student) shared.
Tran Dai Nghia High School for the Gifted, Thu Duc City also organized a welcoming ceremony for students to return to school.
After separating Tran Dai Nghia High School for the Gifted according to the city's project, the school was located at lot P2, 38.4 ha resettlement area, An Khanh ward, Thu Duc city, Ho Chi Minh city.
The school will enroll and train specialized 10th graders at high school level from the 2024-2025 school year.
In the 2024-2025 school year, Ho Chi Minh City will have about 1.7 million students, an increase of about 24,000 students compared to the previous school year. The opening ceremony will be held simultaneously on the morning of September 5.
