(Dan Tri) - On November 27-28, the "Dream Streak" event of the Libreria Project education project was successfully held at La Thanh Primary School (Dong Da, Hanoi) and Genesis Primary School (Nam Tu Liem, Hanoi).
Libreria Project is a community project founded in 2020 by a group of high school students in Hanoi with the mission of spreading and improving reading culture and narrowing the educational gap.
The project is implemented with main activities: A series of activities to spread reading culture, a fundraising fair combined with a book seminar and a soft skills training session for students.
Continuing the journey of "Sowing seeds of knowledge - Coloring dreams" in the past 5 seasons, Libreria Project continues to spread reading culture and at the same time convey the meaning of words in season 6.
The program has contributed to sharing the love of books with the community and helping students in the inner city of Hanoi to interact and understand more about the importance of books in their journey of personal development.
The series of activities "Dream Streaks" with the mission of continuing existing values and discovering hidden values, hopes to give children the opportunity to paint their own brilliant "streaks" of ambition and dreams.
Through interactive activities with vibrant colors, Libreria brings an interesting and useful talk to the school's students.
A dream world has been opened through the book "Alice in Wonderland" and the color-by-number game with unique shapes of objects and animals.
In addition, the talk show program combined with the book exchange activity also introduced to students the benefits and significance of reading through games that stimulate interest; all were directly planned and organized by project members, and the content of the activities was prepared through discussions to ensure the quality of the event was carried out in the most meticulous and careful manner.
Nguyen Dieu Linh (grade 11 Literature, Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted), Head of the Libreria Project Organizing Committee, shared: "For us, books are both an endless source of knowledge and a companion to each child on their journey of learning and self-development.
The event aims to convey the meaning and value of books through interesting and highly interactive activities that inspire students. From there, Libreria Project conveys the love of books and encourages reading habits through this series of activities "Dream Streaks".
Le Tuan Khang - a 3B student at La Thanh Primary School - expressed his feelings after participating in the program: "I personally found the event very meaningful, interesting and useful.
After today's program, I was very happy to experience interactive games and also be able to use the books I have to donate to Libreria's Book Fund, helping children in difficult circumstances to have access to new books."
The "Dream Streak" series of activities is the first pre-event marking the return of Libreria Project in its 6th season of operation. All donated books will be used by the Organizing Committee to renovate the library of a secondary school in the Northern mountainous region that the project has the opportunity to visit for the main event, scheduled for April 2025.
