Who are the speakers of the first Vietnam ESG Forum?

The Vietnam ESG Forum was initiated by Dan Tri newspaper. On April 23, the first Vietnam ESG Forum, including seminars and the Vietnam ESG Awards ceremony, will take place in Hanoi . The program is attracting many businesses, organizations, localities, and people interested in ESG implementation and sustainable development to register to participate.

The first Vietnam ESG Forum with the theme "Sustainable Development Strategy in the New Era" consists of two parts: the Forum and the Vietnam ESG Awards Ceremony. The speakers of the first Vietnam ESG Forum include leading experts in the ESG field and representatives of prestigious organizations with experience in sustainable development. Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa - General Director of FPT Corporation, Chairman of Vietnam Software and Information Technology Association (VINASA), Vice Chairman of Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, Vice Chairman of Asia-Oceania Computing Industry Association (ASOCIO)

Mr. Khoa was the youngest CEO in the history of FPT Corporation when he was appointed General Director of FPT Telecom at the age of 35. During the 2012-2017 term, he led the company to remarkable growth with revenue increasing 2.6 times, profit increasing 1.6 times, and staff nearly doubling. Since 2018, he has held the role of Deputy General Director of FPT Corporation and General Director of FPT IS in the group's leadership development program.

From his experience in implementing ESG criteria, Mr. Khoa affirmed that ESG is not an ornament but a strength for businesses to promote core values.

Dr. Le Thai Ha - Executive Director of Vinfuture Foundation, Executive Director of Green Future Fund (under Vingroup )

Dr. Ha is the only Vietnamese female scientist named in the list of the world's most influential scientists (2021-2023). Graduated with a PhD in Economics from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore at the age of 24, Dr. Ha is a prestigious researcher with more than 80 articles in prestigious scientific journals - leading journals in the fields of energy economics, environment and applied economics.

For many years, she has been listed in the top 1% of the most influential scientists in the world (according to Stanford University). Dr. Ha is also the only female member of the Scientific Council of Economics (NAFOSTED, 2022-2024).

Notably, she is also the Executive Director of the Green Future Fund - a fund established in 2023 with the mission of contributing to the Government's goal of net zero emissions by 2050, towards a green tomorrow for future generations.

Dr. Bui Thanh Minh - Deputy Director of the Office of Private Economic Development Research (Department IV) of the Prime Minister's Advisory Council for Administrative Procedure Reform

Dr. Bui Thanh Minh is an expert in the field of policy reform and supporting green transformation of enterprises. He is also an expert in projects and activities of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), The Asia Foundation (TAF), the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) and other international organizations to support enterprises and localities in green transformation and ESG practices.

In addition, Dr. Minh is also the author of many domestic and international scientific studies on sustainable development, and is also a consultant for organizations such as the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), Good Neighbors International (GNI), Save the Children and many ministries and sectors.

Mr. Pham Tuan Anh - Member of the Board of Members of Vietnam National Energy Industry Group (Petrovietnam - PVN)

Before holding the position of Member of the Board of Members of the Vietnam National Energy Industry Group (Petrovietnam - PVN), Mr. Tuan Anh was the Director of the General Department at the State Capital Management Committee at Enterprises - where he was evaluated as a capable, experienced and knowledgeable official in state management.

As the Global Training Director of GSM, Ms. Dung plays a key role in developing the human resources team, especially building a professional, friendly and cohesive driver community - contributing to making GSM a pioneer in the field of electric vehicle mobility in Vietnam.

Ms. Huong has over 18 years of experience in companies providing consulting services to businesses, mainly related to corporate restructuring and finance, especially governance, risk management and internal control to improve operations and sustainable development projects.

In addition, the Director of Sustainable Development Services at Deloitte Vietnam also has a lot of research and experience in building ESG strategies for businesses. She has also attended many events related to ESG, sustainable development and has shared a lot of knowledge related to this field.

Mr. Arghya Mandal - General Director of TH Milk Joint Stock Company

During his many years as General Director of TH Milk Joint Stock Company, Mr. Arghya Mandal played an important role in building and developing a high-tech agricultural production model, aiming at sustainable development and environmental protection.

He and the TH Group leadership have implemented a closed production model "from green pasture to clean glass of milk", applying advanced technologies from countries such as Israel, New Zealand, Japan and the Netherlands. Mr. Deep Sen - Vice Chairman of Sustainable Finance Subcommittee - EuroCham in Vietnam
