Of which, Quy Nhon city, An Nhon town, and Hoai Nhon town will have 17 wards and 2 communes. Binh Dinh province is one of the rare localities in the country with an island commune, Nhon Chau commune.

In particular, some names that are typical of Binh Dinh such as: Binh Dinh Ward, Quy Nhon, An Nhon, An Toan, Canh Lien... will remain the same after this rearrangement.
