It is estimated that by the end of the year, PTC2's power transmission output will reach 8.4 billion kWh, exceeding 112% of the plan assigned by the National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT).
The above achievements are thanks to the timely direction of EVNNPT and the attention and support of EVNNPT's professional departments; together with the close combination between professional, trade union and Youth Union, many vibrant and widespread emulation movements, creating for all cadres, workers and employees a spirit of enthusiasm for production and work, promoting the potential of internal strength to compete and be creative, demonstrating the spirit of overcoming difficulties in each individual and unit.
To complete the 2023 plan targets, from the beginning of the year, PTC2 issued a joint directive to launch an emulation movement to achieve achievements to celebrate the 15th anniversary of EVNNPT's establishment, the 33rd anniversary of PTC2's establishment and to complete the assigned plan targets.
Mr. Nguyen Tuan Tung, Party Secretary, Chairman of EVNNPT Board of Directors (controller), inspected PTC2 applying UAV in operation management.
PTC2 has focused on promoting scientific and technological applications, including the application of building flycam (UAV) flight routes for manual and automatic flights to periodically inspect power lines; and the construction of automatic flight routes to inspect heat emission in transformer stations.
In addition, PTC2 has performed well the work of regular repair, major repair, and maintenance of power line and transformer station equipment. PTC2 has promoted the cleaning of hotline porcelain of power lines and transformer stations that are energized; strongly applied digital transformation work such as: completing the database, ensuring correct and complete data on the PMIS, MDMS, eDOC systems... according to the set schedule.
Deploying digital software for line operation management; completing the project to improve the stability of EVNNPT's core WAN network; perfecting the force to ensure information security, digitizing management records of information systems at level 3 or higher; deploying monitoring of indicators and operating status of information technology telecommunications systems serving information systems at level 3 or higher; deploying D-office digital office; 100% of meter data is updated by MDMS...
During the production management process, PTC2 officers and employees have promoted the spirit of creative labor. In 2023, PTC2 officers and employees had 45 innovative solutions and are completing 2 scientific research topics at the Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN) level: "Research on the application of Lidar technology and unmanned aerial vehicles in the inspection and supervision of power transmission line corridors" and "Research on the construction of a safety monitoring and warning system at transformer stations".
It can be said that currently, PTC2 officers and employees have improved their professional qualifications, proactively grasped and mastered equipment and technology, and at the same time implemented human resource development projects and improved EVNNPT's capacity.
PTC2 promotes the application of UAV flying devices in operations management
Not only that, in the past time, PTC2 has always focused on taking care of the spiritual, material and health life of workers. The salaries of officers and employees are guaranteed, in accordance with the increase in labor productivity and the current salary regime of the State.
The regulations on salary and bonus payment are fully developed, amended, supplemented promptly and approved by the workers' conference. The government, the trade union, and the company's Youth Union organize many movement activities, social security, and visit workers on the occasion of workers' month and occupational safety and hygiene, on the occasion of Tet, holidays, etc.
The completion of the power transmission output exceeding the target and reaching the finish line 1 month and 19 days ahead of schedule is a meaningful gift to celebrate the 69th anniversary of the Vietnam Electricity Industry's Traditional Day, and is also a motivation for PTC2 officers and employees to continue to create momentum to overcome difficulties and complete the task in 2024.

Currently, PTC2 is managing and operating 4,760 km (including 2,564 km of 500 kV lines and 2,196 km of 220 kV lines); 20 transformer stations (including 4 500 kV transformer stations and 16 220 kV transformer stations), with a total transformer capacity of 9,512 MVA.
