“The priest in the film is a man who loves his children, is hard-working and especially loves his job. The character is a priest, in the Central region it is called a funeral worker, who specializes in burial work. I have a lot of experience playing this role because since I was 14-15 years old, I have helped people with burials,” Hoai Linh said.

He added: “Director Trung Lun and I have worked together for a long time, so this is also an advantage. However, there are very difficult scenes in the film, parts without dialogue that require acting with facial muscles and eyes. Trung Lun is a perfectionist, so sometimes I get very frustrated because I have to do it over and over again. When the audience watches the film, that moment can be 5-7 seconds, 30 seconds, but in reality, filming can take up to 4-5 hours, even 1 session.”

In addition to the scene of carrying Tuan Tran, Hoai Linh was also impressed with the scene of carrying the coffin to the burial. He felt sorry when the whole cast, including adults and children, had to carry the coffin from morning to noon.
