Support to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for poor households in Vo Nhai

On the afternoon of April 3, Vo Nhai district organized a groundbreaking ceremony and awarded funding to support the construction of houses for poor households in Lien Minh commune. Attending the program were comrades: Mai Thi Thuy Nga, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Thi Loan, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of a number of departments, branches, the Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association and leaders of Vo Nhai district.

On this occasion, delegates participated in the groundbreaking ceremony and presented funding to support the construction of houses for 3 families: Ms. Hoang Thi Tu, Nho - Khuan Da hamlet; Ms. Duong Thi Xuan, Khuan Nang hamlet and Ms. Dang Thi Lanh, Ngoc My hamlet. These are 3 poor households with extremely difficult circumstances. Each household received 100 million VND in support from the Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association. On this occasion, provincial leaders presented gifts to encourage the families.

According to statistics, Lien Minh commune has 73 poor and near-poor households living in temporary, dilapidated houses. So far, the locality has eliminated 54 houses. For the remaining houses, the commune is actively propagating and mobilizing households to repair and rebuild them soon to stabilize their lives.
