The signing ceremony demonstrates the determination of three units that have great influence in the market in three areas: media - business - market share in supporting businesses to transform green production activities, "joining hands" with the community to realize green consumption habits.

On January 2, 2024, Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper (SGGP), Ho Chi Minh City Business Association (HUBA) and Ho Chi Minh City Union of Trading Cooperatives (Saigon Co.op) - the first and pioneering unit in the distribution system signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement to support market share - brand for businesses achieving the title of Green Enterprise.  

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Tang Huu Phong, Editor-in-Chief of SGGP Newspaper, said that the 2023 Green Business Award, chaired by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, successfully organized by SGGP Newspaper, HUBA and relevant departments, has created a strong resonance and positive communication effect not only in the business system but also in the community.

With the spirit of working together and supporting each other so that the brands and products of Green Enterprises can spread strongly in the community, be recognized and prioritized by the community, especially during the Lunar New Year, the Organizing Committee of the Green Enterprise Award held a signing ceremony of Comprehensive Cooperation to support market share - brand for enterprises achieving the title of Green Enterprise between Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper, Ho Chi Minh City Business Association, Ho Chi Minh City Union of Trade Cooperatives.

Accordingly, based on their strengths, the three units will synchronously deploy three solutions: Comprehensive cooperation between the parties to exchange information, solve difficulties, needs for market share development and brand building, together aiming at the common goal of developing the brand of the enterprise to achieve the title of Green Enterprise, as a basis for brand communication, enhancing community recognition of the products of Green Enterprises, gradually contributing to expanding market share for Green Enterprises; Reviewing, evaluating capacity and establishing a list of enterprises, members, partners... in the system of the parties that are capable of improving production capacity, expanding market share, and having potential for brand development. From there, it will be the basis for the three parties to combine to build solutions to support brands and market share; Establishing a “Green Enterprise” information and communication channel on SGGP Newspaper, and supporting enterprises in building communication strategies to increase community awareness of products and brands of the parties and enterprises, members in the system of the parties.

To support brand development for businesses that have achieved the title of Green Enterprise, the Editorial Board of SGGP Newspaper will synchronously deploy solutions: create and develop communication themes to effectively inform the brand image and products of Green Enterprises to the community; Diversify information implementation solutions: organize diverse forms of information transmission on the multi-platform ecosystem of SGGP Newspaper such as SGGP Daily Newspaper, SGGP Online, SGGP Talk Show, Video clip reportage...; at the same time, act as a focal point for information, connect and promote the strength of multi-channel transmission with other media units... to increase the ability to cover information about Green Enterprises, increase the effect of spreading information for businesses to the community.

In addition, SGGP Newspaper will also host the opening of the "Green Enterprise" columns on SGGP Online, combined with supporting general information on SGGP Daily Newspaper to support product information and Green Enterprise brands supplying goods in the Saigon Co.op system.

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Hoa, Chairman of HUBA also shared that HUBA will preside over the organization of seminars and workshops... with the participation of experts and businesses in the fields of production, trade, service industries... and related general economic sectors such as tax, customs, finance, banking... to deeply analyze the shortcomings and difficulties that Green Enterprises have encountered and are facing, on that basis, promptly reflect and effectively pursue proposals and solutions to support the development of Green Enterprises' internal strength and Vietnamese goods distribution channels.

At the same time, HUBA will proactively cooperate comprehensively between related parties to exchange information, solve difficulties, needs for market share development and brand building, together aiming at the common goal of developing the brand of the enterprise to achieve the title of Green Enterprise, as a basis for brand communication, enhancing community recognition of Green Enterprise products, gradually contributing to expanding market share for Green Enterprises. At the same time, review, evaluate capacity and establish a list of enterprises, members, partners... in the system of the parties that are capable of improving production capacity, expanding market share, and having potential for brand development. From there, it will be the basis for the three parties to combine to build solutions to support brands and market share.

On the side of Saigon Co.op, Mr. Nguyen Anh Duc, General Director of Saigon Co.op emphasized that Saigon Co.op is the first and pioneer in signing with the Organizing Committee of the Green Business Award to implement a strategy to support market share development for businesses achieving the title of Green Business. Accordingly, Saigon Co.op builds preferential policies and appropriate promotional programs, applied at points of sale nationwide to support businesses achieving the title of Green Business; has a preferential financial policy to rent shelf space and product display locations for Green Businesses; makes a list and connects businesses supplying goods in the system with SGGP Newspaper and HUBA, as a basis for SGGP Newspaper and HUBA to support brand and product development to increase the community's recognition of products of businesses in Saigon Co.op's supply system. At the same time, support supply enterprises to complete production processes, towards achieving Green Enterprise certification certified by Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee.

Saigon Co.op regularly deploys information, prioritizes promoting Green Enterprises' products in Saigon Co.op's internal information system. At the same time, it will coordinate with SGGP Newspaper and HUBA to regularly organize trade promotion activities, connecting Green Enterprises with domestic and foreign enterprises, enterprises with the community and consumers to create favorable opportunities for enterprises to expand market share, create a basis for expanding production activities, gradually forming Green Enterprises with large production scale and becoming leading enterprises in the industry.
