The 4th Ho Chi Minh City International Music Festival (Ho Do 2024) will take place over 3 days, December 13, 14 and 15, at Nguyen Hue walking street - Le Loi street, District 1.
Ho Do 2024 is a gift from the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee to the people and music-loving community, with the desire to bring a completely free, high-class art experience space.

Entering its fourth year, Ho Do has become a familiar "party" for the public of Ho Chi Minh City and tourists.
With the aspiration to make Ho Do one of the most important cultural events of the year in Ho Chi Minh City, the Organizing Committee has been satisfied when the public is always eagerly waiting. This is an event organized according to the direction of Ho Chi Minh City to effectively implement the Project on Developing the Cultural Industry of Ho Chi Minh City to 2030; opening up opportunities for the city to affirm its position as the leading cultural center in the region.
Ho Do 2024 with the participation of more than 250 domestic and international artists will bring impressive performances, creating a rich musical picture, harmonizing tradition and modernity. Among them, singer My Tam is one of the symbols of contemporary Vietnamese music, Henry Lau is an international star performing in Vietnam for the first time, HIEUTHUHAI is a young rapper with the innovative spirit of Vietnamese music... Ho Do 2024 also has the participation of talented artists such as: Thinh Suy, Hoang Dung, Vu Thanh... and famous international music groups such as Psychic Fever (Japan), Nfamady (Wales), The Big Day (Scotland), Greta (Denmark), A Train (Korea)...

Notably, the music night "Rock Marathon by HOZO" on December 15 is considered an emotional explosion for the rock music community. The powerful melodies of bands such as Buc Tuong and Pham Anh Khoa, Ngu Cung, Mun Go, Chillies..., along with 2 Korean rock bands Can't Be Blue and Simileland will help make the atmosphere more exciting.
At Ho Do 2024, the Local Labels Stage on Nguyen Hue walking street is a place for young talents and promising indie artists to have the opportunity to step onto the professional stage and tell their stories through music. With the participation of new voices such as Vy Vy, Giana, The Thien, Changg, Vuong Binh, Tuimi, MINH, the band THEMÈO - the reigning champion of the Ho Do Inspiration 2024 contest..., Local Labels Stage will be a place to bring a new creative breeze, with the unique personality of each young artist.
The presence of artist Vo Van Anh (Vanessa Vo) - who won the prestigious Emmy Award in 2003 and was the first person to bring traditional Vietnamese music to the White House in 2016 - and the Blood Moon Orchestra promises to bring a unique attraction to the Local Labels Stage. Vo Van Anh is not only a talented artist but also a symbol of the connection between traditional and modern music, strongly inspiring the younger generation.
Laying the foundation for the creative industry
Within the framework of Ho Do 2024, many notable activities will take place. In particular, the Vietnam Music Conference 2024 with the theme "Human Resources - The Key Factor in Music Creation and Business" will analyze the role of people in all aspects of the industry - from artist management, music production, marketing to organizing big shows. The program takes place over 3 days, December 13, 14 and 15 at the Ho Chi Minh City Light Music Center.

The seminar on "Developing human resources in the Vietnamese music business to reach the international level" was chaired by the Department of Culture and Sports, in coordination with the Ho Chi Minh City Music Association, VMIN (Vietnam Music Industry Network), HOZO Music Festival and Ho Chi Minh City Light Music Center. This is a new form of event, carefully researched over many years to create a program to equip basic knowledge about music business, contribute to career guidance, and build a potential music business in Vietnam.
In addition, Ho Do 2024 also includes the Vietnam - UK Live Music Incubator 2024/2025 program - a collaborative initiative between VMIN, the Association of Independent Festivals (AIF) and HOZO. The program is supported by the British Council's Connecting Through Culture Fund, implemented in the UK and East Asia.
Vietnam - UK Live Music Incubator 2024/2025 aims to foster a sustainable and thriving music ecosystem, providing training, mentorship and international exchange for individuals in the industry. In addition to supporting talent development, the program also focuses on promoting diversity, inclusion and sustainability in the Vietnamese music industry. The first workshop on "Talent Development and Business in the Live Music Industry" will take place on December 13, at the Ho Chi Minh City Light Music Center.
Music in harmony with the flavors of the world
Along with Ho Do 2024, HOZO Food Festival will be an attractive highlight. With the theme "Music without borders - eat the world", the program will take the audience on a journey to discover diverse cultures through each dish, creating a unique and colorful space. This year's food festival brings together more than 60 booths, with delicious dishes from many countries.
The vibrant music melodies echoing in the unique culinary space will create an experience that blends hearing and taste, making every moment memorable.
Meanwhile, the Flavors Awards ceremony, taking place on December 14, will be a highlight event on Nguyen Hue walking street. This is an opportunity to honor outstanding individuals and businesses in the culinary industry - from creative chefs to pioneering restaurants and brands.

After many years of organization, Ho Do has become a prominent cultural symbol of Ho Chi Minh City with a completely free model for the community, contributing to affirming the city's position on the international cultural map.
Each season, Ho Do attracts the participation of hundreds of artists from all over the world, creating a unique cultural exchange.
Collaboration with major international music festivals in the region and global creative networks has also made Ho Do a bridge between Vietnam and the world, not only in the field of music but also in cultural, artistic and tourism aspects. Through Ho Do, Ho Chi Minh City is not only known as a dynamic, creative and integrated economic center but also a meeting place for international cultural exchange.
According to the Cultural Industry Development Strategy of Ho Chi Minh City, performing arts is one of the key areas. The Ho Do International Music Festival aims to make this goal a reality.
Over the years, Ho Do has shown development in many aspects, with impressive numbers. In 2023, the event attracted more than 200,000 attendees over 3 nights of performances, including many international visitors.
