Price of SJC gold bars and gold rings exceeds 106 million VND

On the morning of April 11, the price of SJC gold bars was simultaneously pushed up to a new high by SJC and PNJ businesses, 103.4 million VND/tael for buying and 106.4 million VND/tael for selling, an increase of nearly 3 million VND/tael compared to the end of yesterday.

In just a few days, the price of gold increased by more than 6 million VND/tael. The price of gold increased rapidly and exceeded all forecasts, and is at its highest level ever.

Similarly, the price of 99.99 gold rings and jewelry gold of all kinds was traded around 102.4 million VND/tael for buying and 105.4 million VND/tael for selling, also increasing by about 2.6 million VND/tael compared to yesterday.

Domestic gold prices jumped for both SJC gold bars and gold rings, following the strong upward trend of world prices.

Gold price increased shockingly

On the international market, as of 9:00 a.m. this morning, Vietnam time, the price of gold was trading at $3,218/ounce, up about $70/ounce compared to the end of yesterday. In just a few days, the price of gold also increased by more than $200/ounce, surprising investors.

Gold prices rose sharply today as the US stock market once again fluctuated due to investors' concerns about the US-China trade war. The Dow Jones index fell sharply by 1,014 points, the Nasdaq fell by 737 points, and the S&P 500 fell by 188 points.

Many investors have shifted capital from stocks to gold as demand for safe havens and safe investment channels increases.

At the same time, data related to inflation in the US cooled down, causing the USD to depreciate sharply. The USD index on the international market lost the 100-point mark, falling to 99.8 points; crude oil futures also fell to 59.25 USD/barrel. Gold prices continued to be supported to increase sharply.
