Mr. Hoang said that his health was not good so he asked to resign and the Board of Directors of Nghe An football team accepted.

Immediately after that, SLNA announced the team's new captain, Mr. Phan Nhu Thuat.

“In the past time, Coach Nguyen Huy Hoang and the SLNA coaching staff have tried their best.

I would like to thank the Board of Directors for their trust and assignment. My colleagues and I will do our best to complete the job," Coach Nhu Thuat shared.

SLNA is currently ranked 11th on the V-League 2023 rankings with 9 points after 10 rounds.

In the last 3 matches of the first leg of V-League 2023, the Central team will meet Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Dinh and Hanoi clubs respectively.
