The Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) has just reached an agreement to terminate the contract with coach Troussier. Therefore, the captaincy of the Vietnam national team and Vietnam U23 team is currently vacant.
Currently, the Vietnam Football Federation is urgently looking for a replacement for coach Troussier. The nearest campaign is the 2024 AFC U23 Championship, where Vietnam U23 will compete.
One of the candidates for the position of head coach of the Vietnam national team to replace Mr. Troussier is former coach Park Hang Seo. The Korean strategist is currently in Vietnam and is a senior advisor for Bac Ninh FC.
On the day Bac Ninh FC departed, Coach Park Hang Seo shared interesting things as well as his goals when accepting to be an advisor for this team. When asked about whether he could return to lead the Vietnam National Team to replace Coach Troussier, Coach Park Hang Seo just smiled and said: "Thank you".
Before Coach Troussier left the Vietnam national team, Coach Park Hang Seo posted a meaningful message on his personal Facebook page: “Everything is promising when spring comes. The bear wakes up from hibernation and seeks his new challenge.”
