On the evening of March 1, Ezra FC officially lifted the 2024/25 Lao National Championship. This is the first time in the club's 22-year history that Erza FC has won the championship. At the end of the season, Ezra FC topped the rankings with 38 points after 14 matches, 4 points ahead of the second-placed Young Elephants.
Ezra FC has won 12 out of 14 matches, drawn 2 and lost none. With the championship, Erza FC won a ticket to the 2025/26 AFC Challenge League and 450 million kip in prize money (about 529 million VND).
Ezra FC player Damoth Thongkamsavath was voted the best player of the tournament. In the final match of the season, Erza FC won 5-1 against MD Viengchanh, in which Damoth contributed 1 goal with a goal in the 70th minute.

Damoth Thongkamsavath (born in 2004) contributed greatly to Ezra FC's championship with 7 goals and 4 assists after 12 matches. Notably, Damoth is a player of Vietnamese origin. His grandparents are both Vietnamese citizens but have lived in Laos for a long time. The midfielder revealed that his grandparents are from Quang Binh province.
At the AFF Cup 2024, Damoth attracted attention when playing for the Laos national team. In this tournament, Damoth left his mark with 2 assists in the 3-3 draw with Indonesia and a 2-3 loss to Myanmar in the group stage.
Remember at SEA Games 31, Damoth Thongkhamsavath was the mainstay midfielder of U22 Laos. He was given the opportunity by coach Michael Weiss when he was only 18 years old and soon showed his talent.
Coach Ha Hyeok Jun is likely to call up Damoth Thongkhamsavath when Laos meets Vietnam in the third qualifying round of the 2027 Asian Cup on March 25.
