Image of dragon mascot receives "rain of compliments" in Quang Nam

The flower garden at 24/3 Square in Tam Ky City has just been completed to serve the people of Quang Nam on the occasion of the 2024 Lunar New Year.

In this flower garden, 4 dragon mascots have also been completed, including 2 large dragons made of foam, painted yellow, placed right in the center of 24/3 Square and 2 small dragons decorated outside.

These dragon mascots receive many compliments from people because of the majestic, strong, and heroic demeanor emanating from the dragon.

The pair of golden dragon mascots at 24/3 Square were sculpted by artisan Phan Nhan (39 years old, Da Nang City) and completed within one month.

According to Mr. Nhan, the pair of golden dragon mascots is 11m long and over 4m high. Because the mascots are long, tall and made of foam, they had to be carved piece by piece, then moved to 24/3 Square to assemble and create the final shape.

The highlight of this pair of dragon mascots is the head that exudes authority and bravery, the body is trimmed with large scales, the fins and tail are quite eye-catching. This golden dragon mascot has received "a shower of compliments" from the online community since its construction.

The dragon's legs are also exquisitely designed with raised claws and scales.

"True Quang Nam dragon, the "final boss" did not disappoint the 92 brothers. 92 is forever the best, Quang Nam is forever the best", commented Thanh Tran on social media.

Taking advantage of the beautiful sunny weather, many people came to have fun and take souvenir photos with the spring flower garden and the dragon mascot. Mr. Nguyen Van Tan (Tan Thanh ward, Tam Ky city) brought his family to visit and take souvenir photos.

"I find the pair of dragon mascots in Quang Nam province very beautiful. If you look closely, you will see that the artist designed them quite elaborately, the dragons are very soulful, highly aesthetic and majestic," said Mr. Tan.

Mr. Tran Quoc Trung, representative of the unit assigned to construct and decorate 24/3 Square, said that in previous years, the mascots were stylized, but this year, they researched making a "real dragon" with different colors from other localities.

The dragon mascot in Quang Nam is highly appreciated by the online community, making the designers, sculptors and constructors feel warm.
