Effectiveness in Party development work in Nghi Loc

In recent times, along with focusing on implementing Plan No. 132-KH/TU of the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee on implementing Resolution No. 21-NQ/TW of the Party Central Committee (13th tenure) on "Strengthening and consolidating grassroots Party organizations and improving the quality of Party members in the new period", the Standing Committee of Nghi Loc District Party Committee has had many solutions to develop the Party in the district.

Every year, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee issues a plan for training and developing party members for the grassroots to implement. Every month and every quarter, the comrades in the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee directly work with units with low rates of party membership to find solutions.

During the implementation process, the Party Committees and grassroots Party cells have closely followed the directives, plans and official dispatches of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee to carry out the review, build sources, and send sources of subjects to study at the basic level to ensure the quantity and targets assigned by the superiors. Localities also reviewed sources from youth union branches of blocks, hamlets, hamlet executive committees, relatives of Party members, and people working in public service units to detect factors for recommendation to the Party.

In particular, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee has opened Party awareness training classes for workers of factories such as Nghi Lam Garment Factory, Thien Phu Company Limited branch - Carton packaging factory; Asia Minerals Company; Slabstone factory... At the same time, priority is given to developing resources at schools and vocational training.

Thanks to that, in 2021, the Party Committees and Party cells sent 310 sources of subjects; in 2022, they sent 337 sources of subjects and in the first 9 months of 2023, they sent 537 sources of subjects. Recently, the Standing Committee of Nghi Loc District Party Committee focused on directing the thematic meeting "Work on creating sources and training and developing Party members" in the whole district and created positive movements.

Comrade Nguyen Ngoc Bien - Head of the Organization Board of Nghi Loc District Party Committee said: “Thanks to the focus on resource building, the number of party members admitted every year has increased. In 2021, 217 party members were admitted, in 2022, 250 party members were admitted (meeting the target of the Congress Resolution) and in the first 9 months of 2023, 264 party members were admitted, reaching 81.7% of the plan assigned by the province. This is the basis for the district to achieve and exceed the target of party member admission in 2023".

Nghi Loc District Party Committee currently has 66 subordinate grassroots Party organizations, including 36 grassroots Party Committees (28 commune Party Committees, 1 town Party Committee, 7 agency Party Committees) and 30 grassroots Party cells, with 10,764 Party members. In order to effectively carry out the work of developing new Party members, in the coming time, Nghi Loc District will continue to raise awareness and responsibility of Party committees, Party organizations, cadres and Party members in leading, directing and implementing the work of training and developing Party members; Focus on thoroughly grasping and directing the serious implementation of Resolution No. 21-NQ/TW of the Party Central Committee (13th tenure) on "Strengthening the consolidation and building of grassroots Party organizations and improving the quality of Party members in the new period"; Directive No. 06-CT/HU of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee on "Strengthening the work of training and developing Party members in rural areas"; Plan No. 94-KH/HU of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee on the plan to train and develop party members in 2023...

Nghi Loc district identifies that training and developing party members is an important and regular task of grassroots party organizations, thereby enhancing the role and responsibility of each party committee and each cadre and party member, especially leaders and cadres under the management of the District Party Committee Standing Committee.

The district has been focusing on doing a good job of creating sources, training and developing party members and strictly implementing the party membership admission targets assigned by the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee to party committees and party cells. Attaching the responsibility of the heads of party committees and party cells in creating sources, selecting and training outstanding masses for consideration and admission. Party committees and party cell executive committees periodically organize surveys to clearly understand the number of potential masses in youth unions, associations, and hamlet executive committees; focusing on the source of subjects such as teachers, union members in organizations and unions; students with high achievements in studying, training, and active participation in school movements...
