DTO - In 2024, the Steering Committee of the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" of Hong Ngu district (abbreviated as the Steering Committee of the district movement) directs and guides agencies, units, People's Committees of communes and towns to concretize the emulation movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" in accordance with the situation of the unit and locality. In particular, focusing on improving the quality of cultural titles.

Accordingly, all levels, sectors and localities have increased propaganda on the radio system, the district's electronic information page, and Zalo groups of grassroots political and social organizations, with the participation of a large number of cadres, civil servants, public employees, union members, association members and people in response to the movement. Agencies, units, communes and towns in Hong Ngu district have effectively implemented grassroots cultural activities, family work, cultural and artistic movements, preserving and promoting the values ​​of cultural heritage, in conjunction with the implementation of Resolution No. 06 dated December 31, 2021 of the Provincial Party Committee on "Building a culture and people of Dong Thap that are affectionate, dynamic and creative". The movement to build cultural families continues to be widely deployed in residential areas and receives strong support from all walks of life. In 2024, Hong Ngu district has 33,994/35,592 (accounting for 95.51%) households meeting cultural family standards.

Along with that, the movement to build "Cultural Hamlets and Villages" has developed widely, the number of hamlets and villages meeting standards has been increasingly improved in quality. In 2024, the entire Hong Ngu district had 40/41 hamlets and villages recognized as "Cultural Hamlets and Villages" (reaching 97.56%), contributing to maintaining order and social security in the locality, while actively contributing to the construction of new rural areas, restructuring the agricultural sector, building the local image, developing tourism... in the border area. The locality continues to implement the Campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas" which is a large-scale, comprehensive and long-term campaign, promoting the process of socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security stability at the grassroots level. At the same time, the successful implementation of the "For the Poor" Campaign has strongly aroused the spirit of solidarity, mutual assistance and help in residential areas, together protecting the environment and landscape, encouraging learning and talent, caring for the poor, maintaining self-management models...

The Department of Culture and Information of Hong Ngu district (now the Department of Culture, Science and Information of the district) coordinates with the Department of Justice of Hong Ngu district to advise the district People's Committee on the orientation of the content of the Hamlet and Hamlet Conventions to ensure compliance with Decree No. 61 dated August 16, 2023 of the Government. In particular, focusing on the contents of the conventions that are not contrary to the provisions of law, social ethics, the interests of the State and the community and are suitable to the actual situation and cultural characteristics of each locality. Currently, in Hong Ngu district, 41/41 hamlets and villages have approved conventions.

Regarding the implementation of the emulation movement "All people unite to build a cultural life", the District Movement Steering Committee pays attention to promptly rewarding collectives and individuals with new models and methods that bring practical results. In particular, it focuses on rewarding professional departments and direct workers with outstanding achievements in implementing the emulation movement "All people unite to build a cultural life", as well as advising on the good implementation and completion of the targets on building "Cultural families"; "Cultural hamlets and villages"; "Typical communes, wards and towns".

Currently, Hong Ngu district continues to implement Conclusion No. 76 dated June 4, 2020 of the Politburo on continuing to implement Resolution No. 33 of the 11th Party Central Committee on "Building and developing Vietnamese culture and people to meet the requirements of sustainable national development" and Resolution No. 06 dated December 31, 2021 of the Provincial Party Committee on building a culture and people of Dong Thap that are affectionate, dynamic and creative.

Along with that, implementing civilized lifestyle in weddings, funerals and festivals; building a healthy cultural environment, preserving and promoting the good traditional cultural values ​​of the nation, contributing to repelling social evils, promoting local socio-economic development. Functional sectors and localities strengthen the management of cultural activities, cultural services, eliminating harmful cultural products. At the same time, strictly handle violations in cultural activities, public cultural service business, contributing to building a healthy, safe and civilized cultural environment.
